Provolone, roast beef and pepperoni. In the summer of ’74, the Pepsi delivery man requested a curious combination of provolone, roast beef, and pepperoni. Peter Cancro’s brother, John, liked the sandwich so much, he gave it the family name and a menu spot of its own.

Music is so loud that you cannot hear the staff and communication is non existent. I have had to send back every single hot sandwich i have ordered because they never ask about adding cold toppings. A certain manager on duty is very belligerent and rude (male, i did not get his name). The tables are never clean without being asked for them to clean them.

ordered a #8 didn’t get any bacon on it. While I understand the staff is new, a bit more awareness of what’s being ordered would be nice. If the sandwich says it comes with bacon, I shouldn’t have to ask for bacon, nor should I need to babysit while the sandwich is being made. The food was still really good, but i’m a bit disappointed.

Had begun to frequent this restaurant for deliveries often (to the pt the staff said get the app), all prior experiences were pleasant and the sandwiches great until last evening when I visited for a takeout with my family an hr before the close. The store was down to one and half pieces of bread and no tomatoes- which is fine, happens sometimes but the main staff member was extremely rude, discourteous. As a paying customer basic respect and service are my prerequisites

Ordered online. When I got there after time promised my order was not ready. Manager asked and said they could not find order. Showed him confirmation number and went to ticket machine. Order was printed and then worked. There was never an apology, a discount or solution to make this right. So dissatisfied and disappointed.

Fell in love with JM #17 going all the way back to early 90’s at a new store in Spartanburg, SC. What I loved was the consistency of the sandwich, i.e. melted cheese, chopped to perfection etc. I was disappointed today at the Plymouth, MN store. My gut told me the staff was off when I entered but I gave it a shot anyway. Ordered #17 extra cheese, peppers etc. cheese was not melted, and it seemed half cold due to that fact. I am okay with waiting for the right quality, I hope next time the sandwich maker will take care and concern, visually look at the product before serving to the customer.
