Cancro Special
Provolone, roast beef and pepperoni. In the summer of ’74, the Pepsi delivery man requested a curious combination of provolone, roast beef, and pepperoni. Peter Cancro’s brother, John, liked the sandwich so much, he gave it the family name and a menu spot of its own.

I recently visited jerseys mikes today in order to get me a Philly and was confused on why I was constantly listening to a baby crying in the back. The baby was constantly roaming around the establishment without any parental supervision. One of the employees eventually confined said child and brought it to the back of the store. As a consumer of fine sandwich products, the atmosphere was just horrendous.

I’ve never had a problem before, but this time makes me not want to go back. Employee scooped pile of fallen toppings from previous sandwich, into a pile and then picked the pile up and put it into the lettuce bin! I’m sorry but that’s gross and nobody wants someone else’s riff raff on their sandwich. Mind you I have never seen anyone do this before but clearly more training is needed. I said something and the other person just scooped a handful out of the lettuce bin and threw it out, then just looked at me like, you happy now? Lacking customer service and how to properly make a sandwich. Please train your people better!
