Cancro Special
Provolone, roast beef and pepperoni. In the summer of ’74, the Pepsi delivery man requested a curious combination of provolone, roast beef, and pepperoni. Peter Cancro’s brother, John, liked the sandwich so much, he gave it the family name and a menu spot of its own.

I really like this place but today was just ok, the girls were super polite but the young lady who cut the bread just mashed it to nothing,none of the tables were ever cleaned the entire time I sat in the store. I really wished they made the sandwichs on the paper instead of dragging the bread accross the messy counter. Some small fixes and this place will be great.

The food is awesome, but apparently, the employees have trouble getting orders correct. I got the wrong sandwich, a meatless Philly cheesesteak once, the wrong bread multiple times, and don’t even bother asking for bacon on your sandwich. I only got bacon once out of the 4 or 5 times I’ve ordered it.

I went in the other day on Friday, and let me just say, The staff was super friendly, the atmosphere felt great, and the food came out amazing! Store was clean, and the guy working grill (gibby) did a great job with all of our orders, the food was hot and fresh, exactly how it should be.

Placed an order online with a pick up time of 11:54, our order of two sandwiches weren’t complete until 12:20. From a person who has been doing customer service her whole life since I’ve been able, this was unacceptable. Let me just say I understand this location was busy, but first all there was no welcome or what we were there for. And after asking about how much longer the response was sorry it’s just two of us. With the most respect that is not your customers problem. A few suggestions like welcoming everyone who comes through that door an acknowledgement goes a long way. Also when you finally complete that sincerely apologize letting that customer know their time is valuable. Last but not least throw in a free cookie, drink, a coupon anything that shows your appreciation that will bring that customer back. 25 minutes waiting for an online order that was paid for in advance is horrible enough, but for a business not truly appreciate you and your time is worse. Although my sandwich was put together awfully it was good. With that said training these employees on what great customer service looks like this business would thrive.
