Cancro Special
Provolone, roast beef and pepperoni. In the summer of ’74, the Pepsi delivery man requested a curious combination of provolone, roast beef, and pepperoni. Peter Cancro’s brother, John, liked the sandwich so much, he gave it the family name and a menu spot of its own.

Well.. here at 8:08 and they just told me they don’t have lettuce at a sandwich shop.. ? Did not offer price off.. just a dumb look. With five workers standing around.. wow.. what a dump. No lettuce.. ? Albertsons 3 blocks away. And 5 people with their thumbs up their.. yup you got it. No sale. Walk out. Enjoy your Friday night sandwich shop..

Absolute trash customer service. Twice I had issues with online orders and both times the manager told me they won’t refund me. Went inside since online wasn’t working and the manager ignored me while I waited to check out, as the person behind me skips me and checks out. When I called to complain about the online charge and the rude service I received the manager tried to tell me she was in the slicer when I was there. But I recognize a manger when I see one, and the MALE employee was on the slicer. Total BS. I told them I wouldn’t be coming back anymore and hung up. Then they called me back just to tell me I wasn’t welcome. Absolutely trash service choose a different jersey mikes

Greatest sub shop you can find for fast and fresh ingredients. You got to get it Mike’s way if you really want it the right way. I love splitting the giant veggie on white with my wife. The perfect size to share. Pro tip: If you’re getting it to go, ask to get the oil and vinegar on the side. Add it yourself when ready to eat to avoid a soggy mess.

Friendly service and getting the sandwich ‘Mike’s way’ was a good choice. Mike’s way adds lettuce, onion, tomato, oil, vinegar, and some herbs. Meats and cheese are a cut above and sliced to order. The super-sandwich was fairly standard and didn’t have much spice or flavor, spicy meats might be better.

Best cheesesteaks are at this location. Can’t go wrong with a #17. I wish Mike’s would add cheese wiz as an option for their steaks but it’s a jersey based place and wiz wits are a Philly thing.

Sandwiches at this establishment are good. I got a giant turkey sandwich, and the meet was fresh tasting and they have acceptable mayonnaise. I’m glad they carry Frito-Lay brand chips instead of in-house garbage chips. The dining room was clean and seating is minimal. The staff was friendly and helpful-the two gals at the cash register were especially cheerful. The prices are A little high, about 25 bucks for two sandwiches. However, the giant sandwiches are “giant”, and could easily feed two non-American humans. I would return to Jersey Mike’s if the occasion arises.
