Cancro Special
Provolone, roast beef and pepperoni. In the summer of ’74, the Pepsi delivery man requested a curious combination of provolone, roast beef, and pepperoni. Peter Cancro’s brother, John, liked the sandwich so much, he gave it the family name and a menu spot of its own.

This place used to be good when it first opened, but now they have a new crew and it’s terrible. They’ve messed my order up the last three times. Like leaving the skin on the avocado’s the served me or not putting on Chipotle mayo on my Chipotle chicken philly. Sad cause I work across the street and used to come here all the time. Now not so much.

Was just there around 5:00pm today. The two gentlemen there were very friendly great customer service!! My family and I really enjoyed dining in. This store has a much larger dine in area compared to most locations and very clean. Overall very satisfied with our visit. Don’t go to the location at the Long Beach town center they have horrible customer service.

This place is due for another inspection. They use the same slicer for cheeses and meats without sanitizing (within a 10min window) They also use the same pair of gloves for meats and cheese. And they do not wash hands between changing gloves.

My coworker and I have been coming here for the last couple months at least once a week. Last week we arrived 5 mins early and came inside the location as it was cold and rainy outside. We were told by one of the employees that we had to wait 5 more mins and we had no problem with waiting. We got a glare and I asked if it was okay to wait inside and the response was “I guess so!”.
