Provolone, ham and salami. Ordering a #2 with salami instead of cappaculo became a mouthful for some of our hungry customers, so we gave it a name and a number to call its own. The Stickball Special comes with provolone, ham, and salami and truly knocks it out of the park.
Cancro Special
Provolone, roast beef and pepperoni. In the summer of ’74, the Pepsi delivery man requested a curious combination of provolone, roast beef, and pepperoni. Peter Cancro’s brother, John, liked the sandwich so much, he gave it the family name and a menu spot of its own.

Any sub you order is fresh and delicious. The service could be a bit more attentive. I was ignored while waiting for the line to die down. I use a cane, so I didn’t appreciate waiting since I was only picking up my sandwich.

The sandwiches had a lot less meat in them and they weren’t very good. I usually go to the one on Soledad and the sandwiches are much better. Philly cheese steak wasn’t good and neither was the portobello mushroom sandwich. Stick with cold cuts.

Horrible customer service and a huge let down. My son and I came in no one greeted us. Only one customer ahead of us. A another customer walks in gets greeted and they also took his order . One of the girls behind the counter asked if I was trying to order I had to stand behind that customer. Just a horrible attitude and not friendly at all. Latino customers don’t seem too welcome at this location!
