Cancro Special
Provolone, roast beef and pepperoni. In the summer of ’74, the Pepsi delivery man requested a curious combination of provolone, roast beef, and pepperoni. Peter Cancro’s brother, John, liked the sandwich so much, he gave it the family name and a menu spot of its own.

Went in to get a sub today to the El Monte location. Sebastian created my sandwich. I have to say I have been to a lot of Jersey Mike’s in the past but I have never been treated better by a staff member than I was today. Sebastian was super nice and respectful. He gave me great customer service and made the experience over all a very pleasant one. With staff like that II will surely be back to this location.

I’m not ordering again from this location. I have been a long time customer purchasing lunch for myself and employees. I ordered mini Tuna on APP, they quickly called to advise me they had no tuna made. Which I did appreciate the phone call, I told the person please change to mini # 7. I we t to pick up, then got back to my workplace to find out they gave me the wrong sandwich. #10 Regular on white bread. I called after and person was nice but acted like I was going to waste my time coming back for correct sandwich, No I’m done!

I had heard of Jersey Mikes, but never tried it until I worked right across the street from one. I like to have a sandwich on my lunch breaks. I was pleasantly surprised at how tasty these sandwiches are. The turkey provolone is just as fresh as the turkey sandwiches I use to get from Claro’s Italian market and the Vons market delli. Now I am a rewards member, and I go to Jersey Mike’s once a week.

Lady would only give me a little bit tuna on my sandwich and asked for more tuna and she charged me for extra meat. This location in El Monte use to be good customer service. They been lagging lately I think I’m going to subway better customer service.
