Stickball Special

Cancro Special
Provolone, roast beef and pepperoni. In the summer of ’74, the Pepsi delivery man requested a curious combination of provolone, roast beef, and pepperoni. Peter Cancro’s brother, John, liked the sandwich so much, he gave it the family name and a menu spot of its own.

Hi! I normally only stick to a certain Jersey because all Jersey Mike’s do not value fresh ingredients. The staff was so nice! Each and every person greeted me when I entered and was nice while helping me. This location let me down, the lettuce was brown! The guy didn’t even notice it thats the crazy part! Staff should be able to know when the ingredients are not fresh & need to be changed out or not even put out at all. I was in the rush and didn’t say anything to the young man. I just came home and took off all the lettuce I didn’t really enjoy the sandwich because that old lettuce still was touching the rest of the sandwich & it was messing with me. My husband didn’t eat his sandwich at all because of it. But I was hungry so I ate some. I really think staff needs to be more mindful of the ingredients. Someone could possibly get sick from old ingredients.

If you order a cold sandwich your on the jersey Mike’s list of favorites. Now if you choose the HOT sandwich make sure your getting an experienced cook my sandwich was way overcooked spending nearly $20 for a giant let meat was dry & didn’t go down as easy. Probably won’t buy another hot sandwich.

This location has different menus items which caused issues when ordering our regularly ordered menu items. After we got a sandwich we thought was what we always order, we went back to correct the problem they had an attitude and skimped on all the ingredients on the correct sandwich. Not at all impressed with this location. Plus they didn’t have fountain drinks cause they were all out of carbonation.

The bread was extremely hard, couldn’t even eat the end pieces so me and the person I was sharing with only had one piece of our giant sub each. We asked for mayo and the guy put barely any on the bread with a bottle and when we asked for him to spread it he opened a plastic knife to do it and it just didn’t seem professional… I usually really like jersey mikes but I can’t even enjoy this.
