Cancro Special
Provolone, roast beef and pepperoni. In the summer of ’74, the Pepsi delivery man requested a curious combination of provolone, roast beef, and pepperoni. Peter Cancro’s brother, John, liked the sandwich so much, he gave it the family name and a menu spot of its own.

I ordered the Grilled Portabella Mushroom & Swiss but had pretty bad diarrhea after. It might be a coincidence but I doubt it. I’ve not had any problems with their food in the past. My Lay’s BBQ chips were great. I hope that they look into this very soon.

Sandwich quality is pretty good, but most of the employees are slow and always talking they have no sense of urgency and don’t care. Maybe it’s because they’re all young or they were just raised wrong not sure. Takes approx 10 minutes to make one sandwich with nobody in line. They will literally stop making the sandwich and talk over it. Today it was 9 minuets.

Let me say up front that I’m a big fan of Jersey Mike’s. However, I’m not a fan of this location. I placed an order online and they completely ignored my topping requests. From what I can tell they just closed their eyes and threw on whatever their hands found first. I specifically said no mayo; it’s swimming mayo, I asked for spicy mustard, I got extra mayo; I asked for pepper relish; I got….more mayo! They did get the meat and bread right. I’ll continue ordering from Jersey Mike’s, but I’ll go the extra distance to a different location.
