We had been running errands around all day and decided to come here for some quick sandwiches and we are all happy! I asked My 25 year old nephew what he thought of his steak sandwich and his words were “ made with love” and he thought his server had excellent customer service. I think I may have had a loaf of bread that was a little hard but the steak was soooo good. I enjoyed my sandwich and would come back.

Awesome steak and cheese subs!!! Just like what I ate growing up in Boston. Excellent steak and produce. I only gave “Service” 4 stars for two reasons. One, you can always be better. I don’t think anyone is truly a 5. And two, and unfortunately, the main reason for only 4 stars is that they don’t tend to read the directions or notes supplied on each sandwich when ordered. IE: Add Mayo – Slice in 4, etc. Other than that slight issue, It would be 4.99 Stars!!!

Super disappointing first visit to Santa Cruz’Jersey Mike’s. A female employee unapologetically informed us that hot sandwiches like the signature Philly are not served a half hour before closing since the store policy is to shut the grill down early. The message was clear: take your business elsewhere.

I want to begin by saying that I received wonderful customer service here. A very friendly staff greeted me immediately, and happily told me about the bread when asked. No attitude problems here, which can be a rarity in Santa Cruz.

I went there to get my birthday sandwich and they were in the middle of doing a huge catering order. There was a couple ahead of my friend and I, I ordered and sat down. 5 other people came in after me. Everyone got their sandwiches and I went to the counter and asked Where’s my sandwich, his reply was I didn’t get a order for that. I was mad I had been sitting there with my friend for at least 30 minutes if not longer to find out my order was never submitted. My friend told me he went there on his lunch break and waited 30 minutes for a sandwich also. Never going there again. There’s to many other places to get a sandwich much faster and just as good. I don’t want anything for this comment so don’t ask me to email customer sup just know that there’s 5 renters at our household and none of us will ever go there again nor will our friends. They weren’t sorry or anything

Jersey Mike’s has delicious sandwiches, but two things help them get five stars. The first is their bread. The bread is all the difference and the closest thing I’ve had to the real deal in Philly. It makes for a more authentic cheese steak, and is great for all the other sandwiches. The other thing is the service. In a time where great service is neglected by nearly every corporate chain, Jersey Mike’s somehow breaks the mold with knowledgeable, helpful, and considerate employees.

I love this chain and have for years but this location seemed overwhelmed and understaffed or staffed with far to inexperienced of workers to operate smoothly and efficiently. They all seemed to be high school age at most, and I was they in lunch break with two coworkers and we ordered three sandwiches exactly as they came in the menu yet each of us had either the wrong order given to us or had to wait at least ten to fifteen extra minutes as they forgot about the order entirely and had to be reminded to make it after everyone behind us in line had already received their orders and left.

DO NOT COME HERE!!! I walked in and ordered a number 6 which is supposed to roast beef. As I got my sandwich I noted some hair on my sandwich which was pretty disgusting as it is. That was not even the worst part…. the person making my sandwich did not even wash his hands before preparing my sandwich. THEY TREAT THEIR EMPLOYEES LIKE GARBAGE. Constantly yelling at them and giving them unnecessary attitude. DO NOT SPEND YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY HERE! DO NOT WORK HERE!

The employees are all so nice! There was a good sized line when I stopped in for a sub, but it moved really quickly and everyone behind the counter was working hard and calling down the line so that everyone felt taken care of. Pablo and Kat were especially awesome! My sandwich was delicious, and finding parking was easy even though it was mid day on Saturday. I’ll definitely be back!
