My son and I went there for breakfast before his swim meet. You can tell the resturaunt is family owned and the customer service was excellent! The food prices were unbelievable. Cheese omelet with grits and toast 3.99 and 2 eggs, bacon, 2 hotcakes, and hashbrowns 7.29. It is good food, great valued and awesome customer service. We would definitely go back when in town.

Can’t believe we have driven by so many times and not stopped! Fantastic food, fantastic service, fantastic prices. We have missed the old Tex&Shirley’s so much, and we have finally found a replacement. The customers inside were a representation of every part of this city and everyone was so friendly to each other! 2 people could easily get in and out for under $20. My plate was HUGE with corned beef hash, eggs, grits, and toast for $6.99. Hubbie’s steak and eggs with grits and toast was $12.99. We will definitely be back, maybe tomorrow!

Super nice server- it seems family owned and run. We were a table of 6 with all different meals and everything came out at same time. Everything tasted great and the chocolate cake was delicious.

1st time being there. The staff were very welcoming, attentive and clean. They served breakfast and lunch all day. The food tasted like homemade/from scratch. It was very nice.

I got the breakfast burger it was great. 1/2 pound burger with fried egg let’s tomato and onion. With fries and a drink for 12 bucks. Just about cheaper than McDonald’s for twice the burger

What a surprising delight! Great food. Great prices and the staff is super nice and efficient. I love the big square plate that slant down to the inside so your food stays in the plate. We went back again and took friends with us. I don’t usget grits because I only take a couple of bites. But these are soooo good, I cleaned my bowl.
