Ordered Jets at 7. We picked up the pizza around 7:30. They gave us a pepperoni deep dish instead of the pineapple deep dish we ordered. I called and spoke to a manager, Mike, who offered to have the pineapple pizza delivered. The delivery guy got here at 9 and told us that we had to swap the pizzas. During COVID. I’m not sure if they thought the customer was lying or if they were really eager to resell a pepperoni pizza.

The best “chain” pizza ever! You know, this just might be the best Detroit style pizza anywhere. It’s better than Buddy’s, Shields, or Green Lantern. And on a par with Louie’s (the other candidate for best pie in Detroit). Don’t get me wrong, it’s not super cheap, but way less money than Buddy’s, for example. And it’s a super respectable Detroit style Sicilian deep dish pie. So good!
