Last Friday I was craving some different pizza. I decided to stop at the Jets location on Arizona Ave/ Ocotillo. They have 4 styles of pizza to chose from. New York, hand tossed round, thin crust, and Detroit style. I chose to try out Detroit, NY style, and thin crust. I had ordered 1 thin crust with custom toppings, 2 NY style with pepperonis, and Detroit style Jets style. When the 20 minutes I was quoted was done I went inside to pick it up to find out one of the thin crust pizzas was made with incorrect ingredients from the manager. First time for me and my boy. I’m gluten free so I didn’t get to experience the acorn it looks pretty basic seems like all of their branding is in the crust. I got the I believe 8-in gluten free with Italian sausage. It was okay kind of sweet. Didn’t really scratch my hitch for pizza but then again I can’t have gluten so. $15.49 is a lot for a little pizza but it was pretty filling it’s thick not near as thick as their other stuff. But it wasn’t the worst I’ve had for sure. My son liked the big crust pizza we got to eat corner and we’re definitely taking a lot home but he was the only one eating. the anti pasta salad with the atrell Italian dressing it’s pretty good

I fell in love with Jet’s Pizza when I lived in Ohio. Had to travel about 20 minutes out of my way to the one in Chandler. They were pleasant employees, the place was spotless and of course the pizza was fabulous. Would love one closer in the Mesa area!!

I was really not expecting to enjoy Jet’s Pizza as much as I did. The first reason being, that I’m not used to deep dish pizza. Eating here makes me really think they I’ve missed out on some really tasty deep dish pizzas. The crust was buttery, flakey, and crisp. There was slightly too much sauce in my opinion; but I write that off seeing as this is a different type of pizza. Also, the cheese seemed to match the ratio of sauce. Very, very good pizza. I will definitely be returning. 4 stars!!

Detroit style pizza a deep dish pie not to be confused with Chicago deep dish. The crispy crust, flavorful sauce (ask for it on top) and the blended cheese will awaken ones taste buds. I do like NY style, but often crave the pizza I was brought up on. Jets does an excellent job on one of my all time favorite.
