I went to JewBoy Sub Shop for lunch today, and I was a little bit disappointed. The food was all right, but it wasn’t what I expected. I ordered the OG Philly cheese steak, and it was definitely not traditional. The meat was cooked well, but the peppers were overpowering and the cheese was not mixed in well. It didn’t have the combined flavors that I’m used to in a Philly cheese steak. And the bread was nowhere toasted enough on the inside to gold up the sandwich and it got soggy and fell apart before I could finish it. The fries were hot and crispy and topped with Parmesan and garlic which was great but there was also a very robust and peppery seasoning on it that was not describe on the menu so I did not enjoy that flavor profile at all and would not have ordered them if they were described with the seasoning that they come with (I might have asked if they come plane or with only garlic and parm)

I love this place, they’re very friendly and have great service. The food is very good and they have plenty of options with the draft menu as well. I got a chicken parm that comes with the marinara sauce on the side which is incredible. I highly recommend this place!

We were pleasantly surprised! We’ve wanted to try this place and finally did. Really good sandwiches! Full bar for drinks and a really nice sized patio. I had the Turkey and Provolone w/house made chips. For me the chips were a little too cooked and Uber crispy w/no seasoning (not a huge fan). The smoked Turkey meat was delicious and perfectly smoked/seasoned. My fiance had the The OG Philly Cheesesteak and the beef was fantastic! The homemade cheez-wiz was great too. Fries were cooked perfect and seasoned well. The Schmutz sauce was nice. We will definitely be back! I want to try a few other subs!!

Rarely does a shop lives up to the hype. I’m glad this one did. I didn’t like the falafel, the sandwiches were really solid. I got one hot one cold sub and one philly cheese steak to go. The chicken parm was easily the best thing I had. Will come back.

Food was excellent, patio looked great (just too hot right now to sit outside for us!). Loved the parmesan fries as well as the og with provolone.

Very underrated. The JewBoy chain has consistently had some of my favorite food in Austin. This location does not disappoint from the huge sub selection, to the cool memorabilia/atmosphere, great service, and above all delicious food. Staff was friendly, attentive and cool. The outdoor area looks cool too and I’m sure will be way better once the construction next door is over.

Great first experience! Lady working the register was very friendly and offered lots of recommendations. Went with the basic OG for my first time and it was really good! I took it to go but the inside of the place was really nice. Lots of tables and a bar. Seemed like a great atmosphere. I will definitely be coming back for the great service, great food and great atmosphere!

I’ve never been here before but let me tell you, it blew me away. The ingredients tastes fresh and the food was flavorful. Staff was super friendly. I recommend the Cheesesteaks, but anything here looks good. The fries had a seasoning on them and were thin. Delicious. I will definitely be back!

Was invited here by a friend and was extremely difficult to find parking in the retail parking garage and thankfully was able to get a spot.

Favorite sandwich shop in Austin. The pastrami is out of this world. Ribeye philly is delicious. To my surprise they also have some of the best French toast in the game.
