If I could give this 6 stars, I would. I’m Nepali. This is the best Nepali food I’ve had in the US (don’t tell my mom). What a gem in the Columbus area! We ordered so many dishes, and they were all wonderful. My favorite was the Chicken Chili Momo, then the Vegetable Thukpa, then the Goat Ko Sekuwa. Even their Indian inspired dishes were wonderful – Chicken Tikka Masala, Lamb Curry. The Vegetarian Thali let us try a lot of side dishes, and all were great! I can’t wait to go back!

Amazing authentic Nepali food. The momo chili is outstanding (fried dumplings and then sautéed with veggies). The Sekua (we had Lamb Sekua) is an authentic marinated and then grilled dish. Butter chicken and lamb curries were also outstanding.

Really really enjoyed our visit. We went at an off time and were the only two there.

Truly enjoy the quiet atmosphere of Jhapali along with the attentive service and delicious food. Pictured here is Chicken Thali, Chicken Tikka Misala, Tandori Platter and Bread Basket. The service (in our several times) here is high quality. The “medium spice” was a bit much for our midwestern palate and they brought out a yogurt to help cool down! Highly recommend.

The food was fantastic and the service was friendly and nice. This place has a good level of Americanization on the food, still retains the authentic flavor and texture. The spice level is a bit high, so if you don’t like things too spicy, I’d opt for the mild or even zero heat option. Overall fantastic food and services

I was blown away by the restaurant’s attention to detail! The flavors in the food were expertly crafted, and the staff was so welcoming and accommodating. The atmosphere was so inviting, and I felt right at home. I can’t wait to come back and enjoy another meal.

Great selection of food in the menu, very clean and exclusive looks, hospitality top notch, price is average. Inside is very calm, they have a bar inside which also looks great. We ordered chicken Dumplings – MOMOs, Nepali Sekuwa and Noodles- Chaumein. Chicken Momo is very tasty, Chaumein was good, it was bit different from other North Indian restaurants. Sekuwa is grilled skewers with masalas, is very tasty, and loved it. It goes really great with Taj Mahal or Kingfisher beer. Got few drinks and had great service. Not a whole lot selection for beer or wine but I guess it normal for ethnic restaurant.

Had dinner here on a Friday night. Delicious Indian food and friendly staff. So glad to have a restaurant like this in Pickerington! We had the samosa chaat appetizer, chicken tikka masala, lamb vindaloo and garlic naan. I got mine mild because I was afraid of too much heat and husband got hot. He said hot was great, warmed the body but not overwhelming. The server offered us some type of chili paste(“hot sauce”) which I used to add a bit of heat to my dish since mild was truly mild and that allowed me to kick it up a notch! We will be back!

I tried Jhapali, the food was so good. Sauces were authentic Nepali sauces. Juicy momos. I haven’t had good biryani in long time and guess what, I just did at jhapali. I would recommend jhapali to everyone who wants to try authentic Nepali cuisine. Peaceful and quiet place. Professional and high quality service.

Menu was full of delicious items. I had Lamb Korma, Garlic Naan, Samosa, and Ras malai. Owner apologized for slow service as he had several staff call offs that evening. We’ll definitely give them our business in the future.
