I was visiting the gym next-door and as I was walking up to the door the delicious smell of something good cooking was wafting through the air. As I followed the smell I walked into the cutest little Mediterranean style cafe. I was not expecting it to be so welcoming! It’s much roomier than it appears to be on the outside. The three sisters (owner/chef) I met while waiting for my order were so beautiful and personable. I ordered the spicy chicken wrap which was not really spicy (of which I was duly informed upon ordering it) that came with a side salad. I chose the pear salad. The food came out very quickly and I was going to take it home to eat it but I couldn’t wait. It was so delicious, healthy and filling! The pear with the homemade poppyseed dressing was a perfect combination with spinach and pecans ( ) and the wrap with thick white warm tender chicken was seasoned perfectly. I wish I had one right now! I will definitely be going back to eventually try everything on the menu. Definitely a hidden gem My pictures are not the best this time, next time I will do better with the pics. This restaurant has an A rating and it’s very clean.

Quaint little spot, food is solid, but woah did the lady in the front have an attitude when I simply told her I was picking up a Grub Hub order. When I asked if I should cancel the order she said ‘yeah, you can do that’. Honestly doesn’t matter what kind of rush you’re experiencing, you need to lose the attitude.

They cook w/dog in the kitchen . There’s a dog in the kitchen while cooking and prepping the food for the public patrons and this is just not sanitary!

To be honest I wanted to leave a 5 star review before my husband and I even got our food. The service is incredible, first and foremost. The restaurant smelled AMAZING, so you could tell the food was going to mirror that. I got the falafel with pita and hummus and let me just go on to say that we ended up ordering the hummus and pita appetizer because the hummus was SO GOOD and full of flavor. He got the turkey pesto sandwich and the soup of the day, both he said were some of the best he’s ever had. Highly recommend, definitely go. If you don’t you’re doing yourself a disservice because this wasn’t even just a date, it was a full experience. 10/10

First time in, won’t be my last. I got the salmon patties w/lemon side salad. Everything is fresh, high quality, and super tasty!! I got it to-go but all the ladies who helped me were very friendly. Thanks for an awesome lunch!!

A little hard to find hidden in a strip mall next to a karate dojo, but worth the effort. My wife and I were looking for a lighter meal and thought Mediterranean would fit the bill. We stumbled into a jem. One of the sisters waited on us and attentively listened to my wife’s long list of food sensitivities. She then explained how everything was made to order and gave my wife some suggestions. My wife settled on the veggie rap and a salad. She really liked her meal. I had the quiche of the day, which was broccoli cheddar and a salad. I also very much enjoyed my meal. I also got a piece of baklava to go. It went well with some coffee later in the evening. I recommend stopping in and giving this place a try. I think you may find something to like.

Jilla’s Gourmet Kitchen is a hidden gem among the hustle and bustle of the greater Myrtle Beach area. The ambience is warm, colorful, and quiet. The menu is seasonal, sourcing local and fresh ingredients. We ordered 2 different breakfast vegetable omelettes and were pleased with how fresh and rich our dishes were. The coffee and juice were delicious and fresh too. If you are looking for something original, local, and different from the usual fare available along the brightly-hit Route 17, Jilla’s is the place. Jilla is very friendly and a pleasure to meet.

Terrific lunch spot in Little River. Jillas offers the largest variety of healthy lunch choices that I have found in the area (spanning from Ocean Isle Beach to North Myrtle). I almost always eat at the restaurant because it feels like a peaceful oasis has a chill vibe and excellent vegetarian and all around healthy and tasty choices for lunch. There is something for everyone here.
