I’m a native of Sacramento visiting family in Sacramento. The tacos at this location are a taste of my childhood, they are still the best tasting fast food American tacos I have ever had. It’s hard to believe they haven’t changed. My wife and I missed Jimboy’s so much we have had them twice during our visit to Sacramento. The service at this location was excellent. The staff were friendly and professional. This location is an excellent place to have lunch. The salsa bar was particularly good, the first location we went to did not have a salsa bar. Try the tacos and the fries you won’t be disappointed. I highly recommend this location.

I would keep.a.close.eye on your prices here. This restaurant has been charging us 2$ extra just for ground beef on a taco. The other meats were up to 8$. The only way you have the quoted price is to have beans instead of meat on your items.

I went to this specific store because it stated it had a drive thru, this is not correct. I needed it because my battery was bad and I can’t turn the car off. So they lost a star for that. Second loss is because the cashier was late and they shop didn’t open on time and I waited 10 minutes for the doors to be unlocked.

Midtown Bizness Daygo
Be careful who you hire! Because some lady charged me for guacamole when I never asked for it and I immediately demanded a refund for the food I didn’t order nor received, she gave me a nasty attitude, lied and said it would go back to my card, guess what? I never got that money back! I ordered ONE BEAN TACO and she added some guacamole with it. I checked the receipt and noticed, went back inside and her nasty attitude oh my, she lied about it going back to my card. Be careful who you hire because I will never forget this. And I tell all my friend not to eat Jimboys, the customer service is the worst in California.

7/26/23 (2) going to have lunch ordered then employee told us we couldn’t EAT inside as they needed to take a break and had to lock the door after we left to sit in truck 4 more people came in and sat down Whats up with this story really puts a bad taste in your mouth, the store is on the corner of Eastern and Marconi at 2pm.

This place has the laziest workers. They need a drive thru to keep them busy because every time I go inside such lazy workers that don’t help me and no business so I wonder why. I left and went next door to panda because I am hungry, had to get out of my car but nobody around to help me

I’m thinking there is new ownership. I asked cashier a question and he seemed annoyed. No one else in the restaurant and they did not bring our order to us. We had to pick it up at the counter which isn’t a big deal, just strange. They had music playing in the restaurant area and different music playing in the kitchen. Kitchen music was louder than music in restaurant area and it was awful. I’m not sure we will be back. We really like to support business in our area, but I’m not sure what is happening here. Tacos were good and fresh that is why the 3 star.

This place was way better than I expected. I haven’t been to a Jimboy’s in years but it sounded good. Went in and was blown away. Modern decor, super clean, and the menu looked fresh. We had the street tacos and LOVED them. Kept talking about how we were surprised that we were in a Jimboy’s.
