Jimmie and his family moved to Bonita Springs in late 2020. Born and raised in Chicago, Jimmie has been around Chicago-style sandwiches his whole life. Being the foodie that he is, Jimmie landed himself in the beef business years ago and has acquired the name Jimmie The Beef Guy. He has always dreamed of opening a restaurant in his hometown with his favourite Chicago-style sandwiches of all time. With true inspiration from Chicago, Jimmie The Beef Guy is here to offer you delicious, mouthwatering sandwiches. Jimmie is co-owner of the business with his son, Quentin. I can’t brag on Jimmie the Beef guy enough! After living years in Chicago and being spoiled by famous purveyors all over the city I haven’t been able to replicate the experience here in Florida other then a several hour drive to Portillos in St.Pete’s…….. that was until TODAY!!! I happened on the reviews thanks to Naples Foodie and am certainly glad I did!!! The quality , the service , the owner all 5 ⭐️! It’s worth the 40 minute ride from my house and definitely won’t be my last trip. Whether you have a knowledge of the sandwich or not you won’t be sad or even feel guilty about the calories consumed ! Grab a combo with hot peppers ….. Your welcome .

This was the first time I visited this restaurant and the first time I had a Chicago Italian beef sandwich. I ordered a sandwich with the spicy peppers, a sandwich without the spicy peppers, and an Italian sausage. Overall, the sandwiches were good. The Italian Beef Sandwich is even better with the hot peppers. The meat was tender and not overly salted and the roll was fresh and soft. The owner was courteous and kind and the service was great. They are faster and more courteous than most fast food restaurants. By the way, the Italian Sausage was good. The food ratings are comprised of three folks that enjoyed the sandwiches. I recommend this place for anyone craving an Italian Beef sandwich!

Was vacationing in Naples, FL and looking for a good Italian beef sandwich (I am from Milwaukee, WI, but regularly go to Chicago to try many different foods and Italian beef is one of our family favorites, and we have had MANY beef sandwiches from a large number of longtime Italian beef joints there). We had a different spot in Cape Coral for several years that is good, but not open the last few times when we visited, even though the hours listed stated that they should have been open… So I googled Italian beef near me and discovered Jimmie’s. We visited on 06-15-2023 and were not disappointed!!! Store hours stated that they opened at 11am and we were the first customers of the day. I could tell by the smell when we walked in that this was the real deal. Ordered a mild beef with delicious marinated sweet peppers, another one with hot Giardinera, a side of Italian Stallions, and fries with a cup ‘o cheese. Let me tell you, this was the real deal…simmered beef with ‘gravy’, the correct Italian beef rolls and true Chicago Giardinera…It was absolutely delicious! I had asked the young man who took our order if the owner was a native Chicagoan, and he informed me that himself and his father were the owners and transplants from the Chicago suburbs! Authentic, delicious and worth every penny and every mile you travel the get one of these great sandwiches! They are located in a large strip style mall, with free parking right at the door, indoor (table and counter, for those who know how to eat a Chicago Italian beef) and outdoor dining, super clean facility and just as clean restroom. They are also very friendly, and quite busy too, but your order is filled in short order, so you will not be standing around getting hangry… If you have never had this type of sandwich before, I would suggest that you try it at least once…you will not be disappointed, and may become your Midwest favorite too!

We came into town from Indiana. Our Airbnb host said to check this place out. It did not disappoint! Jimmie was so friendly! The Italian Beef and the Italian Stallion (like an egg roll) are to die for! We’ll definitely be back again.
