I’ve been driving by Jimmie’s Place my whole life, and after 25 years of curiosity, decided to stop in! It gives dive bar vibes, but WOW is the food incredible! I was seriously not expecting the variety of wing flavors on the menu, and the creativity at that! We absolutely loved their sour cream and onion, dill pickle, and honey Cajun flavors, and our pretzels with homemade queso and Mac and cheese were fantastic! The food came out quickly, and our server was friendly and attentive. I’m so glad I finally stopped in and I plan on coming back the next time I’m craving good wings and comfort food!

I had my birthday party at Jimmie’s and it was incredible! The staff were very accommodating, we had everything we needed and everything went smoothly. The food is amazing, the drinks are amazing and love the atmosphere. Highly recommended.

I went to Jimmies with my friend on Sunday. We ordered an appetizer platter & it consisted of 1 piece of chicken (a slightly oversized chicken tender), 2 crab Rangoons, 4 mozzarella cheese sticks & a little more than a handful of French fries & they charged $17.99 for that. It was a glorified kids meal. We know for the next time if we go there again not to order that. I had 1 drink, a frozen mudslide & that was really good, but we were both disappointed by the appetizer platter.

Can’t say enough good things about this place. Have been going here for years but lately the food has gotten even better! Enjoyed a Barrata salad and WOW! Amazing! I would recommend this place to anyone. Best joint in downtown Seymour to enjoy great food and a drink! And very reasonably priced! Bartender was friendly, rest of staff was friendly. It’s what you always expect going to a bar/restaurant. A++++ all around.

This is a tricky one. The food and staff are good, but the clientele can be a bit off putting. I went for dinner with my wife and some family and sat at a table beside the bar. The waitress was very friendly and helpful. Then you hear the patrons start talking…loudly. They were making their political beliefs known to all in Seymour, profanities and all. I’m not going to talk specifics because it doesn’t matter, if you’re marketed as bad and local restaurant this should be shut down immediately and it wasn’t. It went on the whole time.

Always an amazing experience at this neighborhood bar! Am a new resident to the area and really love this spot for late night bites… or a drink at the end of a hockey game! Bri is the best bartender! And all the food I’ve had so far is amazing! Not to owner: please please keep the Shepard’s Pie Eggrolls on the menu!!
