I used to come here pretty often, but haven’t been in awhile. It gets busy after 5pm on a weekend starting Friday, so usual time for me was lunch during the week. Decided to come in for a quick early dinner and we liked the food, drinks, and our server.

This was my first time visiting this place. I thought this was one of those places where food was tasteless and cheap. I was wrong. Their food is fresh and delicious. Our waitress was superb! And the ambiance is another level. Their concept is a Mexican (Tex-Mex) restaurant, but they paid attention to the details and did a great job of not appropriating or insulting the Mexican culture.

Stayed at a hotel next door and walked over with grandkids. Caden was our server, and he was AMAZING! Ask for him if you want great service, I’m sure the others are good too, but he was excellent! The food was great and didn’t take long. Kids just wanted nuggets but they lived them just as much, especially because some were in the shape of hearts.

Had a stellar experience here last night on my second visit. My Jimmy Changa (pictured) was perfect. We also really enjoyed the enchiladas, chips and salsa, rice, refried beans, watermelon margarita, and the Changa ‘Rita. Service was top notch with our server Gianna. Everything was delicious, and one jumbo frozen margarita was enough to put me to sleep as soon as I got home. We were so impressed that we joined their membership program and will be back for more cheat meals.

This is by far my daughters favorite restaurant in all of katy. She absolutely loves the food and there’s something about the rice that I cannot explain, but she always wants to order an extra container to go home. The playground is set up very nice so that parents can watch their kids from either side and kids of all ages can safely play in a nicely shaded area. The best part is the food is excellent and so are the drinks.
