Had a great time at Jimmy Hula’s. The staff was attentive and the food was great. I highly recommend both the tacos as well as the bowls. I’ve never had a Hawaiian twist on tacos but the flavor was great. Will definitely come back to this place.

My wife and I came here to celebrate a birthday, it was our first time dining in at Jimmy Hula’s. We ordered the Kingston and Big Island tacos, but the taco menu has over a dozen types and they all look like winners. We also ordered a Surfin California Burrito with Cajun Fries. There were a few specialty taco sauces that added some kick and flavor. Everything was delicious but the tacos definitely stood out. We will be back in the future just to try out more of the tacos.

My first time reviewing Jimmy Hula’s but I’ve been eating at this location for years. The food has always been very good. Never a complaint. Service has been up and down over the years and the decor got a bit dated. I discovered during tonight’s visit there have been some changes since I was there last. Great food, good service, and they have greatly improved the look of the restaurant. It’s beautiful now. Especially the outdoor seating area. Sometimes they have live music. Met the owner tonight. Or more correctly, one of the owners. I’ve been to at least 4 different locations of Jimmy Hula’s. Good food and service is consistent at all locations but this Lake Mary location is my home base and my favorite. Check it out.

So the food was really good and I’d love to try other items. The decor was super cute. Pricing was fair. My missing 1 star/complaint is needing to walk up to the counter and order; it’s not like there’s 5-10 items on the menu and just soda. There’s a huge menu and full bar they really need to sit you down and have wait staff come to the table. Besides more functional for the customers as a consumer I would spend more for sure.

You’re not living right if you aren’t eating at Jimmy Hula’s at least three times per month. The Kingston is our favorite along with Jerk Fries. The Tuna Poke Bowl is also outstanding. Very clean and vibrantly decorated location .
