First and only time I’ve been to a Jimmy Johns and I was extremely satisfied the service is so fast. My order was done before I got done paying with my card payment. I’m talking about in a flash, unreal and VERY APPRECIATED. I was in a hurry and I needed to use the restroom but I didn’t have to wait I was in and out. Clean atmosphere, great food, and speedy service.

Great corner spot with their unbeatable flavor. Happy staff. Outdoor sitting available, and not crowded. This makes an awesome choice if you want a peaceful meal, without COVID stress, or quick stop along VA Route 64.

Friendly staff, fresh food. It’s a pretty simple formula for a food place and they have it down here like it’s second nature.

Let me start by saying everyone working at JJ’s is quite kind from what I’ve observed. I’ve been ordering delivery from them 2-3 times a month since the pandemic started. Most of the time, I was very satisfied- however, as of the past 3 months or so, their roast beef has been far too thick compared to the past and it has a good amount of chewy fat. At first, I thought it must be a one time thing but unfortunately it’s happened for every roast beef sandwich that I’ve gotten for my last 4 visits have been less enjoyable than usual. Everything else is amazing though; bread, chips, etc. My only other complaint is I work in a medical office where masks are required so I normally try to catch the driver outside because most delivery drivers of all companies don’t normally wear masks, unfortunately there’s no real map tracker in the app so it’s hard to time it right. This is certainly NOT me complaining about any employees- I understand that most people nowadays don’t care about the spread of COVID or the permanent effects it can have on the body and they’re no longer required to wear masks by law but, if there’s a sign on the door that says masks are required, they should call the customer and meet them outside if possible instead of just coming in maskless. Once again, this is talking about ALL delivery drivers (Doordash, Dominos, Ubereats, etc) NOT just Jimmy Johns. My main complaint though is the meat, I don’t expect people to magically care about those around them when the law doesn’t require them to- we are humans after all.

I got the JJ BLT. To me it was average because it didn’t have much taste as the bread overpowered the ingredients. Shredded lettuce, mayo. And under cooked limp bacon. It wasn’t bad just not exceptional, so the average rating. I was served quickly by friendly people. The place looked nice and seemed very clean.

***Full disclosure, I used to be a driver for a Jimmy Johns location. I’ve only had sandwiches from four other locations including three in the Richmond, Virginia Metro Area, and one In Greensboro, NC.***

This is a solid location, easy to get in and out of because of the traffic light. The inside is fairly standard, although a lot of the seating will feel a cold breeze when the door opens… but besides this, the staff is efficient and helpful. If you like JJ’s, you’ll get the experience you are expecting here!

Got to the store about 2 minutes before closing, received a warm welcome from the staff, sandwiches were made with care. Just what we needed after a long day in the rain whe traveling on a motorcycle.

Who’s brilliant idea is it to close right at dinner time? Their awesome employees will be sad when they have to seek other employment because the business isn’t profitable and shuts down permanently.
