It had been years since I visited a Jimmy Johns location. This was my first time visiting the Northampton Blvd location. I ordered the Italian club. I ate half for lunch and the other half for dinner. It was a good amount of meat. I loved the sauce on it! Looking at the menu, it must be the blend of mayo, oil, vinegar, and oregano – basil that was perfectly combined. When a little of it dripped from the sandwich, you could tell from that and the taste, that it was a light dressing/sauce. Years ago I had my sandwich in lettuce instead of a sub roll. As I recall, it was good that way too.

Ordered a Turkey Tom with everything on it and get a dry sub with barely a sliver of meat with nothing on it. The pic is what I received. I Won’t be going back to this location. All of the other Jimmy John’s I’ve been to never let me down like this. Very disappointing.

When I moved from San Diego I had a really good sandwich shop there. So, when we moved to Virginia Beach, I saw a Jimmy John’s on North Hampton Blvd. The service and food was good. That was 2018. The service started to go down and the food too. So, I started going to Jersey Mike’s. This past Friday I went back to Jimmy John’s to see if they have improved their service and food. NOPE!! Are you freaking kidding me? Why is one person doing it all when there is 3 employees? I came in to eat with my family around 2pm and out of the 3 people, one person was cleaning a white lady maybe in her 30s and taking orders and doing orders while the other young lady a black girl went to her car it appeared and another young man sitting at the back of the business. Is this not a team? Am I missing something? We took our food and left decided not to eat in there because we felt bad for the woman doing everything. She did take care of us and we were happy with her service and she did not show one ounce of frustration. She is better than me. I would have walked out as an employee. She went back to cleaning and had a smile on her face the whole time while we were getting our drinks. She deserves a promotion for doing it all and the other 2 employees a demotion.

The girl running the register at 1:45 on 7-8 does not enjoy the job at all lol maybe just a bad day. Mens room doesn’t lock so of course I get walked in on. Food was good and location was super convenient. Ceaser wrap was a little dry but first time trying so don’t have a good reference.

I love the Jimmy John’s franchise. I eat at them often. This store is so poorly managed that it should be shuttered as a franchisee. When I went there, only one person was ahead of me in line to order. It wasn’t clear initially that anyone was working. The gentleman in front of me gave up and left. I waited a bit longer and a young woman came out to wait on me. She was not friendly and seemed to be bothered to be working.
