Usually love this place for a quick sandwich, but I ordered for delivery and the guy arrived to my door in a bike with his food gloves still on. He was over 40 minutes late and pestered me multiple times for a tip instead of leaving.

Delivery driver was to “scared” to open my gate to get to my front door . He took my number down wrong so he couldn’t call me to let me know to come down. I had to go to store to find all this out but since it was after hours at this point, they couldn’t remake my food. I’m more just confused why he didn’t want to open the gate… their are no beware signs or anything like that sooo ??

Don’t order for delivery unless you’re placing your order *at least* two hours before you plan on eating. It takes that long to get your sandwich delivered. This has happened several times to us and happened even before the pandemic. At that point who knows if your sandwich is even safe to eat though since it’s probably been sitting in a backpack or on a car seat for at least 30-45 minutes. It’s just not worth it. Order from somewhere else where the employees at least pretend to care.

This location is terrible. I’ve been twice and both times my order was made incorrectly. Not to mention when I went to pickup my order, the employees had an entire gaming console set up that they were playing on. Maybe if they focused more on their job and less on gaming the food would be better.

Normally I wouldn’t write such a scathing review, but this is the third instance of Jimmy Johns on university taking over an hour for a simple sandwich and chips order. Every time their excuse is that they only have one driver. I order Jimmy Johns for fast and efficient delivery since I usually have a small window between jobs to eat. If you’re going to advertise “freaky fast delivery” then, as responsible fast delivery-based business, you should hire more than one driver. This is simply unacceptable and needs to be handled.
