Not Freaky Fast for sure. Waited over 45 minutes for a delivery of 7 sandwiches. No special orders or extras. I called after 30 minutes to check on order and was told it was on the way out the door. If finally arrived 20 minutes later after a 1.9 mile drive from the restaurant to the house. The order was missing 1 sandwich so we called back and were assured that as soon as the driver returned he would bring the sandwich back. It was over 30 minutes before he got there and he was downright rude to my son in law when he answered the door. Like it was our fault. My daughter ordered online and left a 20% tip. She said she wishes she could take it back. Next time we will just order from our local Jimmy John’s location in Woodhaven, MI and bring them with us. The staff there is friendly and efficient. Much better service in Woodhaven and nicer staff. No more Grosse Pointe Woods, MI Jimmy Johns for this family.

I order online a#10 and I got two slices of bread with some avocado cream + 4 slices of cucumber and they charge me 15.59 plus Uber for a total of 20.59 I took a picture and I have witness of that. Real rip off.

whenever i have a scheduled order it never comes in time. It’s about 40 minutes overdue from when i ordered it in an hour in advance. This has happened before and i can’t even have what i ordered because it doesn’t come in time.

As like everybody else stated, Door Dash is incredibly slow and it’s Jimmy Johns that do the delivery. Nothing to do with door dash. Nothing freaky fast about this store. It’s been over an hour for my door dash less than 2 miles away.. every time I called they said it’s arriving now. Yet it shows they are still preparing my order that I placed an hour ago.

We placed an ordered for delivery from Jimmy Johns. The manager was absolutely unprofessional and rude to the point he refused to give us his name. He worked close on 5/13/2021 we placed our at 6:25PM and got it around 6:52. We called to inform Jimmy Johns our order was incorrect. The manager “professionally” told us “we waited too long to call and inform them they made our order incorrect”. Fun fact apparently he has a magical timer that tells him when we opened or order and reviewed it. Then apparently there is this undefined time where we can report our order to Jimmy Johns about their wrong doings. He “kindly” made it very clear we failed to meet this unknown expectation. We went to go pick up our order, where he announced to Mack Avenue, he was closing the store. He continued to blame the delivery driver for the mess up. We explained that it wasn’t the delivery driver it was the fact that our subs were made wrong. He continued to ask me in a very “professional” manner if I had ” a husband, a son, a nephew, or anybody to come work for him and see what it is truly like. Then send them my way”. The “manager”, (which I think should be demoted at this point for his attitude and his ability to effectively problem solve) continued to proclaim he was trying to close his store and the fact that I was there due to his employees mistake was a pure inconvenience. Although, I do know plenty of qualified individuals who could work at Jimmy Johns, I would never want them to work under this “man” who called himself a manager due to his unprofessionalism and his inability to lead.

This Jimmy Johns… you CANT BEAT! I would give this place 10 stars if I could. Every time I’ve either ordered sandwiches to my house or went inside the restaurant to eat I’ve never had an experience that had been a 9/10 or lower. This place is a Grosse Pointe Icon and it deserves all the love it gets! The staff and owner are always so helpful and kind and keep the restaurant clean and welcoming to everyone! You should definitely check this place out!
