August 23, 2023, at 8:35pm. Store location 14 mile Rd near the five expressway. I frequent this Jimmy Johns a lot, I work a 10 shift and this store is on my way home. I reached the store around 8:35pm today after my shift and ordered my usual sandwich. The store closes at 9pm, so I had 30 minutes before they closed. The two individuals behind the counter did not seem to thrilled that I was there, the one that took my order was polite, but the gentleman that prepared my sandwich was not so nice. As my order was being rung up, the gentleman preparing the sandwich slammed the lid to the cold cooler down, it was loud enough that the individuals walking outside going to the Yemen coffee house next door glanced in through the window. I do understand that I came in 30 minutes before the store closed, and that they had started to mop the floors and were in the process of sanitizing the counter top and prep area when I walked in, but there was no need to slam the lid and look annoyed. I left a 15 percent tip, I know that restaurant workers do deal with rude customers. That being said, these individuals should have locked the door early, if they wanted to close up shop earlier. To the target, homedepot, Costco and Henry Ford employees that are working late and need to get food late, go to Wendy’s, Culvers or McDonalds instead.

Consistently locks up early and turns the lights off to appear closed. Pull up at 8:30-40 all the time to a locked and pitch black store before a presumably high/barely competent employee huffs and puffs as he’s making my sandwich. Corporate needs to do a takeover on this location from the top down. Crazy management allows this

Horrible. Had to wait an hour and half for a delivery that was literally less than a half a mile away. I didn’t have the option of leaving work today for lunch but I never expected somewhere that advertises “freaky fast” delivery to take THAT long! By the time my food got here it was all soggy and gross. When I called to ask where my food was the excuse I got was they got 20 orders in at once…. Last time I worked in the restaurant business, that was called a lunch rush and expected at 12 pm. So apparently the manager doesn’t know how to run the store. Never again, there are too many other choices to not get what the store advertises.

I came in at 6:47PM on 12/28. I literally watched the girl behind the counter pick up the phone and yell at a customer and proceeded to talk poorly about the customer on the phone because the customer told her she would be there in two minutes. (10 minutes before their closing time). Never in my life have I witnessed such poor customer service. Honestly, the audacity. Probably shouldn’t be working in a customer service role if you don’t know how to treat people with respect. I’ll drive 5 miles out of the way to the other jimmy johns next time.

It is my go-to franchise when I need a bocadillo italiano. But although my review is not more that any of the other positive ones, a few days back (last Saturday I believe it was) I was almost the last customer and they were already cleaning the pop machine. But they didn’t bother about getting my one complete combo. That is customer service with a smile and so they gained my 5 star
