Completely understand why this location receives a 2.5 rating on yelp. We love Jimmy John’s and often go to the Kalamazoo store. But THIS one in Allendale rates extremely low. So sad. Ordered the #2 BIG JOHN unwich, where’s the BEEF???

Ran my mom’s card. The machine said it was approved on the card machine but they told my step dad the transaction didn’t go through. He paid with my card. Come to find out it did come out of my mom’s account and instead of offering a refund they played dumb saying “oh I don’t know what happened.” They told us they can’t offer us a refund and we have to dispute the charge with our bank.

My family and I ordered lunch from the Allendale location & we think those were the best sandwiches we’ve had in a long time! The bread was baked to perfection, the lettuce was fresh & crisp and all the other ingredients were on point! The employee who took our order was fun & friendly & we got our food freaky fast!

Great place to pick up a sub. However, the emoloyees sometimes forget to charge you if you do a mobile order through the app. Several times Ive had to say “I didnt pay for this yet” when they had already set my order out and told me to have a nice day. not trying to be rude, but someone who isnt as honest would have taken that sub right out the door and gotten it for free.

First time in this location and I was in a hurry and ordered ahead on the app, I was very pleased and surprised with the time my order was ready. It was accurate and nicely done, nice presentation, seems they handled it with care. I didn’t see the pick up rack and had to ask the cashier about my order (my bad, it was right in front of me) he could’ve been a little bit more friendly, he was upset when he had to point it out at me and made a rude gesture. Aside of this very nice in general and I gladly would go back.

I don’t know if they look at customizations on the mobile order but I attempted to add bacon to my sandwich and was charged an additional $2.50. To my surprise there was no bacon at all. Thats right, I was charged a whole $2.50 for no bacon at all. I am quite upset, however, the sandwich wasn’t too bad. I even had to borrow a car to get it (shoutout to Ben). Hopefully this is fixed in the future.

I am throughly disappointed with the service I just received. After working in the food industry for 5 plus years, even I know not to disrespect my customers like this. I ordered my sandwich, chips and drink, I am usually a very patient person- however it still took 25 minutes in total for my sandwich and stuff to arrive when the store is 5 minutes up the road from my location- I called to see where my order was at, clearly not upset yet, just wanting to know where my food was… when the food arrived, the driver barley said anything to me and did not mention an apology for being a little later than usual.. instead he left the 6 cents that was apart of my bill, and proceeded to slam it down on one of my company’s displays… this was extremely disrespectful, I will not be returning to this location.

Awful experience today. Was served a sub with bad meat. I took 3 bites and drove back to return it. I explained what happened to the manager and he told me that the meat was freshly sliced (it was not), and that there was nothing he could do about it. I told him he sold me a bad sandwich, he said that there was nothing he could do because of store policy. He offered to make me a new sub, but I told him that my appetite was gone because of the bad meat. I just wanted my money back to which he rudely told me he could not do that.
