Placed my order online at 11:54am. Called the store around 12:35pm as this seems like an excessive wait. In past orders I’ve received turn times of 10-15 minutes. Once the order was received at 12:48pm i immediately noticed my sandwich wasn’t correct I ordered a customized Turkey Tom everything was correct except there was ham instead of Turkey. Called the store back and was offered no refund. They wanted to send out another sandwich. At this point I don’t want to wait another 30 minutes. So I left them know if they couldn’t provide a refund I wouldn’t frequent the shop again. Mind you I order at least 1-2 times a week. The manager said “okay, bye” and that was it. I do not recommend this location. I’m extremely disappointed in the lack of customer service and will not be back.

What a disappointment. I ordered online at 11:53 am. Knowing it’s peak delivery time, at 12:20 I called to see where my order was in the delivery schedule so I had an idea of it’s ETA. I stated my last name and address and was told that my order was out for delivery and that it should only be a few more minutes before it arrived. LIES. I waited another 40 minutes with out a delivery before I had to get on a bus. I asked the front desk clerk to hold on to the delivery once it arrived. 6 hours later I returned to the hotel and… IT NEVER ARRIVED. No email stating the order was cancelled, nothing. I’m very disappointed in their lack of communication.

I placed my order and after 1 hr 40 min I called the store to cancel my order. Yhe woman that answered the phone sounded like she did not care, asked me if a certain address was correct, provided her the correct address and all I got was I’ll let the driver know in a very annoyed tone. Ironically the address she asked me about is a friends house who ordered after my but got their order first. Terrible customer service. I have seen District Managers deliver orders for other locations IN DES MOINES si at this I think being short staffed is just the excuse they use.

Definitely the worst jimmy johns I’ve ever experienced. Never any delivery drivers. Can’t get a sandwich half the time. And any issue with delivery they just brush off on door dash because that’s their 3rd party delivery service. The first time it was a nuisance the second time it was like okay bad mistake to make twice. The third time I’m done. This is ridiculous. Don’t be a ‘freaky fast delivery service for sandwiches and every time you get an order fail to deliver. If I could give you negative stars I would. Terrible service.

Fast and friendly service. The sandwich I ordered was made very fast and it was prepared perfectly. Restaurant was clean and orderly. Bathrooms were spotless. If you use this location and dine in, don’t forget to get your parking ticket validated. You only get 1/2 hour free with an invalidated ticket. However if you validate the ticket you get 2 hours of free parking. They have a self validating kiosk in the restaurant.

There are plenty of JJ locations nearby, and you should definitely go to one of them instead. Consistently slow service. Not unusual to sit at the drive through by yourself for more than a few minutes. Today another car in the parking lot honked and the employee immediately yelled through the speaker to “give her a minute.” Considering I’d already been waiting at the speaker for 5 minutes or more I decided that today was my last time giving this location “one more chance” Maybe they’re constantly overwhelmed with deliveries, but as far as drive through or dine in, every other Jimmy Johns in Des Moines is better. I’ve been to one just off the interstate that had better service during a computer outage than you get here on a good day.

This is the worst experience I’ve ever had. I placed an online order through DoorDash. I waited over and hour before calling the store because my order had yet to arrive, when I called he said they were busy but my food was on the way. No big deal. I waited about 30 more minutes, when it said my food was here I went to grab it. Mind you, I had been watching but didn’t seen anyone arrive, MY FOOD WAS NOT THERE. I then called the store, and asked to speak to a manager. He proceeded to tell me his driver said she dropped it off and he is taking her word for it and refused to remake my order. His name was Evan. Very unprofessional as he laughed on the other end. I will not return to this location or any Jimmy Johns location again after this.
