Manager drags this location down. I had a free sub and she charged me for freebies! It was like she was upset I earned a free sub.

The food and service is fine, but I can never figure out the hours for this location which is really frustrating. I’ve never seen it open past 5pm on weekdays (even though it should be open until 6pm) and I can’t recall it ever being open on the weekend (posted hours are until 3am Saturday and 6pm Sunday). They seem to cater to the downtown lunch crowd, so beware if you are trying to go there at any other time.

Food is great, if they’re open. They should change their hours to read “Closes by 4,” as I’ve run down there on lunchbreak on numerous occasions, only to find a locked door well before their listed close time. They don’t have their hours printed on the door, or anywhere in the building, so I guess that means “Open when we feel like it, closed if we don’t.” About half the time when I would arrive before their mythical closing time, I would see 8-10 employees inside standing around with the doors locked.

I wouldn’t go here again. When my food finally arrived (yes, delivery was slow), I did not receive chips or extras on my sub, both of which I paid an upcharge for. Tried to call them to fix, and No one answers the phone. Not only did I pay for food I didn’t get, it’s impossible for me to get through to anyone to fix.

I was just in this location like I normally am. Nothing special, just wanted to grab a bite because I worked through lunch. After I pad for my sandwich the manager was training a new employee. I completely understand it takes a while to get people up to speed. I even understand letting them practice while you have live customers. I have issue when I come to a place solely for their quick service and it take more than 5 to 10 minutes to get the sub when I’ve walked in before and gotten it in literally under 2 minutes. Instead of complaining and whining I just left without my food, left without saying a word. I just wanted to eat. I’m not really angry about the time. It’s that the manager could’ve mentioned in the beginning that “hey, I’m training a new employee, it may take longer than usual, are you ok with that?” in which case I would’ve told him time is of the essence as I have a meeting in 10 minutes and I’d appreciate it if he made it quickly and let her practice on the customers who had more time. But no. It would be nice if he or the new employee apologized for the time. But they kept ignoring me and talking like the customer didn’t pay for a good and expect it in a timely manner in accordance to the infamous motto of the establishment. My discontent really comes from service industry employees demanded more wages but not on a consistent basis acknowledging/ respecting good/regular patrons; but turning around and kissing the butt of people who make scenes and scream at you. It was only $* lost but I’m tired of this happening. I guarantee that myself and all 150 ppl at my firm who order regularly from there will not be doing business there again. All he had to do was treat me decently. I’m sure they’ll be fine though, they don’t need our business. And that’s the attitude that keeps members of the service industry in lower wages. I’m not trying to be a dick, not trying to get anything free. I just wish for once there would be someone in a restaurant that could show me why exactly they should earn $15/hr. Still love the product Jimmy Johns, just can’t deal with the unintentional disrespect of my patronage.

I order for delivery from JJ all the time. It always arrives quickly, made correctly, and tastes great. I always get their veggie sandwich; not because I am a vegetarian, but because they are the only place that makes a tasty veggie sub! Their service is fine for their other sandwiches, but other places make equally good ham, beef, or turkey sandwiches so they don’t stand out. But their veggie sub? Delicious, and nobody else has anything like it.

I expected better of an $8 sandwich. The Precooked Bacon on a sandwich should not be squishy and the tomatoes were a bit too soft for my taste. However, Delivery was on time and the breads were fresh and tasty.

50% of the delivery orders I’ve placed with this restaurant have been made wrong – IE something is missing from my sandwich or added to my sandwich. Today, instead of “no cheese” they delivered cheese with “no tomato or cucumber.” Other times they leave off peppers or cucumbers. It’s wildly inconsistent for a person who regularly orders a veggie sandwich with all the vegetables and no cheese.
