Every time my family orders from here, the order is wrong. Only 1 order was correct, and that was like a year ago. My mom also had to pay extra for a sandwich that she didn’t even order.

Upon opening our sandwiches at home, we noticed that they were lacking in the extras that we had requested. For example: four pieces of peppers were on one sandwich. We called the store to inform them and were told to come back to the store. I stated that I had already been there once and wasn’t going to come back and asked for our sides to be delivered. Management offered to deliver the sides, however stated that the driver was on delivery. Understandably so, why would I wait an unknown amount of time to receive sides when likely the sandwiches would be eaten? As I continued speaking to the manager at the store, I noted that the amount of pickles, tomatoes, and cucumbers were scant as well. Upon this realization I asked that new sandwiches be made and our $30 order be done correctly. The manager proceeded by saying that I would need to send an email with my complaint. I replied with saying “Absolutely not. This order was prepared incorrectly and it needs to be rectified immediately.” Management then proceeded to call the store owner. Meanwhile, my husband went ahead and ate his sandwich as he was hungry. After about five minutes of being on hold, Janine called. I began explaining the situation to her and was quickly told that I was belligerent to the manager in the store. Not only was I talked over, I was also threatened to be blacklisted from the store “because I wasn’t happy and this wasn’t going anywhere.” We paid $30 for two giant sandwiches and expected to receive what we ordered. Janine stated that everything was on camera and after asking how many peppers were put onto the sandwiches, refused to answer the question. Paper thin cucumbers, tomatoes, and four pieces of pepper is absolutely sad and pathetic. It is also beyond unprofessional for the owner of a well-known franchise to speak to a customer in the way that I was spoken to. Being told that we need to bring in the sandwiches not eaten is not only wrong, but also a food safety issue. Also, we weren’t asking for protein, we were asking for the free ingredients as options to add to our sandwiches. After 45 minutes of argument with Janine and a picture of my sandwich (with the four pieces of pepper on it) she agreed to send two cards for free sandwiches. These are giant sandwiches, not regulars or little john’s and should come with adequate sides if requested. In no way was I belligerent to anyone until speaking with Janine. Customer service is a definite weak point from ownership here and truly keeping business is not something she wishes for either. Not only will my experience be shared here, but it will be shared elsewhere for others to be aware of. Please see the attached photograph as justification for my complaint. My husband’s sandwich was no different.

Ordered a simple blt what I got was a pile of slimey bacon it made me gag just pulling it off the sandwich. Disgusting! Called them and told them what happened. The girl on the phone did absolutely nothing. Never Again

I’m seeing this more and more, and it’s shameful… Prices going up and quality being reduced. You can’t raise prices AND reduce quality at the same time! There were 2 whole slices of turkey on my $10 sub.

If I could give zero Stars I would. Ordered for delivery. When I called they have my phone number & address captured. I waited an hour before calling to see where my order was as I have had long delivery times from them before. When I asked where my order was the lady remarked that the order was delivered. I said it had not been delivered & I wanted to cancel my order & requested a refund. She stated she would refund my card. 2 days later I see the $16 charge. I called & spoke with the manager & explained the situation. He apologized & offered I either speak with the owner for a refund or come back for the meal. I chose the meal. I went in to get my sandwich & the shift manager called the owner & she tells me that the order was delivered as they are able to track the drivers to the location. I again stated I never received my order. She then tells me the driver was instructed to leave it on the porch…..WHAT???? If I somehow missed the driver WHY NOT CALL ME ON THE PHONE TO SAY THE DRIVER WAS THERE??? THEY HAVE MY PHONE NUMBER CAPTURED IN THEIR DATABASE!! I have never heard of a more asinine excuse. She further went on to say that she would give me a sandwich but because of this they would no longer deliver to me. I told her to keep her bleeping sandwich and my $16 as she obviously needs it more than I do. Will never be back.

I drove thru to get dinner, asked to add guacamole to my sandwich, just to realized when I got home that they did not put the guacamole as requested, although I paid extra for it. I called to tell them about the mistake asking if I could get my side of guacamole next time I order (I used to order there very frequently, but will never do again!)…. The gentleman said he “was sorry” and he could not get me the side that I PAID FOR next order… the only thing he could do was to make me a new sandwich but I’d have to drive all the way back with my half eaten sandwich to prove them there was no guacamole in it. It was insulting and unacceptable. The gas price to drive back buys 3 orders of guacamole… not to mention the inconvenience it would cause to drive all the way back at middle of dinner because they did not bother to do my sandwich correctly or fix the mistake on a reasonable way. There won’t have next time at the Wauconda location, that’s for sure!!!
