I always enjoy Jimmy John’s. Portion sizes are a bit on the small side but they’re always tasty. Honestly one of the best ways I’ve had Jimmy John’s recently was catered. We had bought Jimmy John’s as catering for a birthday party and the bang for the buck is through the roof.

I came in and ordered 2 sandwiches. One giant Spicy Italian with peppers, oregano & basil; the second is Regular Italian with Dijon mustard (also giant).

This Jimmy John’s location is the bane of my existence. Has all of its seating shoved into the corner and roped off for no reason. Doesn’t offer outside seating. Constantly out of ingredients. I am vegetarian – they frequently cannot make their vegetable sandwich which leads me to walk across the street to the god foresaken Jersey Mike’s. And when I tell you that there is no harsher punishment than Jersey Mike’s… believe me

I know we are in the age of low carb but they are a sandwich shop and they should know the difference between properly proofed and cooked bread and bread that is underproved and underbaked. Why serve that to customers who pay $17 for a sandwich? A return of the inferior sandwich because it looks like it is made on an under cooked pancake only to get an over cooked pancake??? One would think that an effort would be made to put out a good quality product. A sandwich shop that has well known competitors would want their ingredients to be properly made. A customer will go elsewhere and share their experience. Didn’t think Covington had a Jimmy Johns, will go back to thinking that way.

Love this place. Delivery is always super fast except if I order during dinner time but even then it’s never been slow. Fantastic sandwiches at good prices. My favorite is the Country Club add onions and a side of Kickin’ Ranch.

Both times I have placed an order ahead online, I have waited more than 20 minutes upon arriving at the store for my food to be ready. They seem to prioritize anyone who is ordering in the store. Everyone who was in line (which was out the door) had received their food before I received mine. So it’s basically pointless to order ahead.
