This place is disgusting, last week i went there to order a sub and the workers were so rude i was trying to order and kept getting glared at by all of the workers. the music they play is indecent horrifying and gross, its so loud I could barely hear my own thoughts. it smells terrible and there are tiny bugs flying around everywhere. The bathroom wasn’t clean and last but not least my sub was dry and made very sloppy. I wish i can give 0 stars don’t eat here the workers don’t care about their jobs and are nasty to customers.

I got food poisoning here. I think the meat tasted a bit off, but then decided it was probably just me. Nope… it was off! I was so sick. Very unpleasant. Beware!

As I walked into the Westlake location, I was greeted with ” it’s a 15 minute wait” I replied with a greeting that sounded and would probably be preferred such as ” Hi, welcome to JJ’s thanks for coming in we might be at a 15 minute wait time” then after finding out the cashier stepped away and the specific worker that caused me to write this making sandwiches is the one who yelled out a wait time to a incoming guest I went ahead and asked the guest in front of me now [after using the restroom, I got back in line deciding to wait the shouted time] if they were told the same thing when they walked in. They replied with “no one has said anything to us since we walked in” so, another example of this crew not greeting their guest in the proper Jimmy John’s fashion. A simple hi and thank you for coming in is all someone needs from you if you are busy. At this point is where it all goes south and the whole crew decides to not only tell me to leave but the 6 ft tall gentleman with the hat and beard comes around the stand and gets into my face with threatening gestures. ” We are calling the cops ” they say as I plead that all I did was walk into your store with money to purchase a sandwich. I worked for Jimmy John’s ten years ago and we had a motto of making sandwiches in 20 seconds or less, I’m not sure if this practice is gone but the mentality of being good at what you do should never fade within the workplace. This happen Friday 10/17/2022 around 1-2pm. Working in restaurants and hotels for almost two decades, I would hope the owner of this franchise reviews this with their crew and retrain those who need, drop the dead weight and present the guest with a warm welcome and a delicious sandwich. (And no, I cant take it back, i just got home from work, its too late to do that. Someone who cared did their best, unlike the renton landing Jimmy Johns) Between the fatty/gristle meats, stale bread, and very unfortunate customer service when arriving in person, I think im going to snack on these expensive (for what they are) twigs and never come back.

Do not use their online pick up. I waited 30 minutes for a confirmation that my order was ready before getting in line to find out my order was at the register. I got to take 2 bits of my lunch before my lunch break was over. I appreciate an acceptable, cheap sandwich as much as the next person, but I’m too busy for unreliable notifications. Plus, other businesses in the area have an online order pick up space, while this location, you have to still wait in line or jump in front of other folks to ask the cashier to produce your order…. I picked up my order over an hour ago, and fyi, their online system still hasn’t confirmed my order :/.

This is my favorite Jimmy John’s location. I’ve been eating Jimmy John’s for years but these guys have it dialed in. I’m picky about mayonnaise and hate it when there’s too much. I hate it so much that I often order sandwiches without it even though I do like to have some. I have to trust a restaurant to order mayo on a sandwich these days. These guys dropped some samples by my office and the samples had it right so I gave it a try and ordered a sandwich from them a few days later. They nailed it again and every time since. In addition, their buns are always fresh and baked perfectly. Crispy but chewy, just how I like it. I’ve never set foot in the restaurant because they deliver to my office, usually in under 20 minutes but I’m sure that the quality would be the same if I dined in. Maybe I should give them five stars just based on the quality they maintain. I would definitely give them four and 1/2. Let’s say that I’d give them the other 1/2 if they didn’t charge for pickles.
