This is a cool place, and the main part of the restaurant actually is a log cabin. I need go come back for crabs because probably 90% of the other tables were there specifically for the crabs. They take reservations and seem to be quite busy at peak times, so I would recommend getting on the list before arrival if you want dinner on a Friday or Saturday. We arrived on a Friday at about 7:15, and got a table for two immediately, but the place was packed.

We had to come through to pick up our van that broke down an and decided to stop at Jimmy joy’s for lunch. Everything was excellent. Got seated right away, got served quickly, and the food was great for all of us. Great place if you are looking for homey experience.

10/10 would recommend. Crab was amazing, fish was great, and vegetables were steamed to perfection. Service couldnt be better. The ONLY thing I’d say is that the water had a bit if a fishy taste to it, but it was still good.

Just tried there food for the first time. We had a bushel of #1 male crabs, the crab and artichoke dip, stuffed mushroom, flounder, and shrimp and wings. Everything was delicious. The best crabs we have had in over 10 yrs. The flounder was the best cooked fish I’ve ever had. Will definitely be back on a regular basis.

I had the crabcake sandwich, it was the best I’ve ever eaten. My nephew had the prime rib and it was really good also. The fries were crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. My husband had the open face roast beef and it was tender with a rich gravy. Would definitely come here again when traveling through the area

Great place to eat. Not the cheapest but you get what you pay for. Food and service was great. We went on a Tuesday night and made reservations for 6 but they would not have been needed because it wasn’t crazy busy. The parking lot was full but inside didn’t reflect that. I eat out maybe once a year but I will be back there a lot sooner
