The last few times we’ve eaten at Jimmy’s its been fantastic. The brisket sandwich was very very good, not much fat at all. And the sauce is much better than the competition over here in Ames. My wife and I like to take the bike out on nice evenings and found ourselves at Jimmy’s tonight. Thanks for making it a perfect night for us.

Great food, service and prices! Got the ribs with a bake potato and baked beans. It was delicious. Good lemonade and bbq sauces. Wish they had one in Iowa City !! So good !! My meal came with 2 sides and Texas toast. Generous portions and great taste.

Ordered the Iowa Twister for lunch and everything was very good! Very friendly service and received our food fast! The lemonade, brisket and pork loin were all excellent. They also have a very good potato salad.

Very inviting, cool little restaurant. I had the sandwich with 2 meats on Texas toast. It was smaller than I thought, but well worth it! It was so delicious, I didn’t even use the BBQ sauce. The flavors were amazing!

First time here. In town for an event, Jimmy’s came highly recommended. We agree 100% fantastic service, amazing food, and unbelievable portions. The 2 of us ate dinner, and the bill was less than 30.00 and we took home leftovers. We will be back again

This is a must stop if you’re rolling through. Never had a smoked baked potato. I highly recommend it also get it sloppy! The barbecue sauces are off the wall.. I think she said that they have been open for 18 years I could be wrong but regardless Jimmy’s wife It was awesome! Very accommodating I can’t describe you how perfect the food was!
