Jimmy’s Round-Up is everything good about how cafe or diner should be. We’ve been doing this for 27 years strong, and continue to grow year over year. We have many customers each week drive 100+ miles or more, even several out of state each week come to Oklahoma City, just to try Jimmy’s Round-Up.
Everything we make is hand-breaded and made from scratch daily. If you want frozen, pre-made food, go somewhere else! Jimmy specializes in chicken fried steak, fried catfish, chicken strips, chicken and dumplings, ribs and don’t forget our meatloaf we sell by the panfuls daily! Of course we pair our entrees with sides like real mashed potatoes and fresh cut fries.

What can I say about Jimmy’s Round-Up cafe that hasn’t already been said amazing breakfast, burgers, and dinner specials a true American diner. I would have to say one of the best if not the best chicken fried steaks in the city. Everything I have tried on the menu has been fantastic and we always get tentative, nice, and happy service. If I could say one maybe negative thing is the atmosphere could use an update but it is also kinda what makes Jimmy’s unique! Having said that the restaurant is always clean and tables are cleared and turned fast! Oh…. and the dinner rolls, with the cinnamon butter, are to die for and don’t forget to get a fried pie for dessert or two or three to take home!

We loved everything we ate there. All of their staff was super friendly and attentive. We will definitely be going back again. We had the chicken fried steak dinner with cucumber salad and mashed potatoes, chicken fried chicken dinner with fried okra and mashed potatoes, the chicken fried sandwich with fries and the chicken tenders dinner with fries. They gave us a basket of yeast rolls and yummy cinnamon butter. We also took home the coconut cream fried pie, peach fried pie, and the apple fried pie.

Today was my first time eating at Jerry’s Roundup. The food was amazing! I ordered the Catfish dinner, fried okra and Mac and cheese. For dessert, I had the fried apple pie, which by the way, is free if it’s your first time there. All of the staff were nice, especially my waitress Reema. I highly recommend this place!!

For us southern people that enjoy a meal and don’t worry about calories, it is awesome. Down home cooking at its finest. And you won’t find a better deal than the half-price burgers and fries on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

It was my first time here and the food was so good! The portions were huge! They also gave us a free fried pie for our first visit. I loved the rolls, and they were free. The chicken fried steak was really good, just had a little too much gravy for me though. It was a nice little restaurant to find today! I definitely recommend trying this place out sometime!

First time visitor. Had the 1/2lb pepper jack burger and fries. Also had the liver, ocra and baked beans. Everything came out hot and was delicious. We were served homemade bread. The cinnamon butter was to die for. When we come back to OKC this will definitely be a stopping place to eat.

I have been going to Jimmy’s every since I moved here from Texas over 25 years ago! I absolutely love their food! Good home style meals and the dinner rolls are delicious! Service has always been good and it has always been clean and relaxing! Jimmy is there every day! I have never sent anything back. Definitely recommend for a wonderful meal!

I ordered scrambled eggs because it’s hard to mess them up. They came undercooked with some runniness. I sent them back and then they came back, same eggs, overcooked. Hash browns were under done also with barely any brown. Biscuit was soggy on the bottom. I was going to eat the top biscuit and top of hash browns that was cooked a little until I mixed ketchup in and found a hair. Mine is long so definitely didn’t come from me. My friend ordered over medium eggs and got very very runny egg whites, almost raw eggs. He didn’t complain and ate them anyhow. The waitress mentioned my complaint about the raw scrambled was the 2nd today. Luckily she took the meal off the check. She was a good waitress though. I left with an empty stomach and very disappointed.
