Consistently made dishes. Good portions and food comes out piping hot. Complimentary tea and water. Our go to dishes are the fried flour cakes, sate noodles, and kimchi or salted fried rice varieties.

03/04/17: 4.5 out of 5 – It’s a small eatery with big flavors.

Food was good, but I would not call this place veg friendly. They have a veg section of their menu, but I ordered a vegan meal and fout small bits of beef in my food. I trust that it wasnt the waiters fault because I asked if the meal was vegetarian about 10 times. He comped the meal which was nice. Also the others in my group loved it.

Seriously the best single plate food in all Portland for asian flavors!

I have been ordering from Jin Jin for 2-3 years weekly and they have never disappointed. Fairly quick, reasonably priced, fair service, and medium/larger portions. Their Spicy Sate dishes are excellent.

Great place for noodles. They have some interesting teochow style dishes not found in other places. Pretty casual and fast service. Also do catering.

Alrighty, so today I tried out Jin Jin for the first time ever today after getting recommended them by my boss. From what I’ve heard they have amazing fried rice and food so I had to get some. I placed 2 separate takeout orders for their spam fried rice(my new favorite) and their Lapchong Chinese sausage fried rice. They packaged both of them beautifully in reusable Tupperware containers and the final garnish and look of my food was amazing. Taste wise, it was literally the best fried rice I’ve ever had and trust me I’ve eaten a lot of fried rice everywhere through the years, it wasn’t too oily and the taste of it was absolutely perfect! I could tell it was authentically cooked in a wok and seasoned by the hands of a chef who’s been cooking for a very long time and knows what they’re doing. They’re kind and very nice people who are really friendly and took care of my order and payment fast and smoothly.

We only ordered a couple of things but, wow, they were fantastic! The steamed dumplings were carefully and deliciously made, complex, and delicate. The spicy sate dry tossed beef noodle was complex and spicy, unlike anything I’d had before. I got there at 10:30 and the place was already packed with a line out the door. I think this will become a regular stop when I’m in Portland!
