This place is a wonderful dumplings spot! Jin Mei Dumpling offers a great selection of delicious dishes! ️ Definitely get their Pork Buns and Fried ♨️ Pork Dumplings – the portion size is huge and each is just $5! This place is very affordable ️ but and they only accept cash. Staff ‍ is friendly and welcoming and the service is quick! ⏲️ They have very limited seating so be prepared to grab-and-go. I wish I came here earlier!

A tiny, hole in the wall place that at first was a bit intimidating for us tourists from the South, but we got over our nerves and were rewarded with some of the best dumplings we’ve ever had. You just tell the lady what you want and pay with cash, she had our order ready fast. There’s only one table and it’s on the sidewalk and at the time it was occupied, but there’s a basketball court around the corner, a little park with a small playground and plenty of benches in the shade. We got the fried pork dumplings and the pork buns. I think we spent $15 total for enough to feed three people. The food was genuinely delicious. Cheapest meal of our entire stay in New York City!

One of my favorite spots in Chinatown now because of the pork buns! Very flavorful and always quick to get. I would say there are about 10-15 in there, but I’ve never counted. The lady who runs it is always really great and efficient which helps keep the show going. Seating-wise, they only have one table for 2 outside so beware of that if you are trying to dine in. We also got the dumpling noodle soup and that was quite literally a quart for $5. Great experience $10 for 2 people

Went here today for lunch with my co-workers for the first time. Everything was phenomenal. I had the pork fried dumplings with the sesame pancake with beef. It was the most affordable and most delicious meal I have had in a long time. The dumplings were fried to perfection and the sesame pancake with beef was just delicious. I can’t stress how impressive the quality of the dumplings were out of this world!

It is a bit far from the main Chinatown and kinda hard to get to. BUT!!! Their dumplings and buns are so juicy and flavorful!!!! And the best part is they’re only $5!!! The texture of the dumpling skins so good chewy and soft. They also sell 50 frozen dumplings for only $12. 10/10 would recommend! (No seating to go only)

Best lunch I have had in a long time. $12 and my boyfriend and I both left FULL. Everything was delicious but especially the pork scallion buns. Would definitely go back.

Very sweet old lady serving. Came here for the value, 15 dumplings for $5 as of 08/20/2023. I did come by fairly close to closing time so I’m not sure if that was the reason but most of the dumplings were over-fried and tough BUT the filling had great flavor. I will try to visit again during earlier hours to see if it makes a difference.

I love this place. Very quick service and AMAZING food. Got 2 orders of pork & chive fried pork dumplings, 2 orders of pork buns, and one sesame pancake. For 20 dumplings, 20 pork buns, and one sesame pancake the total was: $21!!! That is crazy- especially for NYC! I have never gotten so much food (especially good food) for such a low price! It took about 5 minutes to get our food as the pork buns were being freshly made.

Are you kidding!!! Just $12 fed me and my boyfriend. A generous amount of fried dumplings and the lady gave us so much noodles too. So worth it because it was delicious. Definitely a takeout place because not many people sit down and eat, therefore there’s only one table for 2. I will definitely be back 🙂
