Don’t get me wrong… the food is good and what one might expect of a “Benihana style” hibachi restaurant.

Good dine-in experience with nice ambiance, but the food is not great, fried rice felt mushy. YumYum sauce was bad outright. For the experience of hibachi and the process of making food, people can try this once.

The food was really good. Fried rice, sushi, and steak ordered. Loved the sushi. Steak would have been great but the medium ribeye steak that was ordered was bordering on well done instead. Also charging $5 more for plain no meat fried rice instead of steamed with the ribeye just doesn’t seem right. Still tasty though. Also when you have a date night maybe try to not sit a couple with a family with 3 small kids under 4 years old including a newborn.

Ok so this place really had me with mixed feelings. The service was great! Quick, efficient, kind and friendly. But I have to be honest the food is nothing special. We ordered the hibachi dish with chicken fried rice and two orders of sushi. I will say their sushi is really really good. They had a lot of different varieties and the portions were very generous. Unfortunately, the hibachi and the fried rice fell short, there wasn’t any particular taste or anything exceptional about it it was kind of like the fried rice one would get at a grocery store fairly bland. You couldn’t really taste much of the spices, the atmosphere of the restaurant because it’s quite small it’s pretty loud, even though they have different sections for seating. We were seated close to the sushi bar and it was really really loud with music TV show playing and of course families need to talk so it wasn’t really a place for peaceful dining and for a hibachi sushi place. The prices were exorbitant. You could’ve got really good fresh sushi at Whole Foods for much lesser. Our party of three paid over $90 for dinner which to me is really expensive for Japanese food that does not constitute fine dining. We paid hundred dollars for four people at Uchi Dallas which is fine dining fusion Japanese food. This was our first time there and we went after a friend from college suggested it because many college students go there. I don’t think we’ll be back.

Second time going here. The food is on point. The environment could be a tab bit better but highly recommend making reservations before hand to be on the safe side. Would recommend to try At least once

For 12 years my family has enjoyed eating at this location on birthdays and special events. Always excellent dinning. Last night was different, they were off their game on their shrimp, steak, scallops and fried rice. Our Chef said they were “doing things different”. For $254.00 I may be forced to try different things too, like another restaurant. Sorry, please go back to your old ways of cooking. Thanks

Delicious Japanese hibachi with reasonable prices on the menu as well as some high dollar items that are worth the price. It’s a casual atmosphere with fine dining. That’s why I’ve been at least a dozen times.

Went here for the first time today at lunch. Table for 5 and we spread out around the 8 top to not feel crowded. Lunch specials are awesome and pretty good deal for the price. Normally this is a night time place but I highly recommend lunch now that I’ve experienced it. Food is top notch and tasted amazing. The dipping sauces are great, hot(ish) mustard for meats and a red sauce for fish/scallops/etc. Our Hibachi chef was great and super friendly. Knife & cooking skills were great and entertaining. His cleanliness was top notch too. Didn’t even try the sushi but I bet it’s good also. Check out the pics.
