Update!!! Been coming here on and off since I’ve moved to OKC (about 8 years). They were great before covid then during covid the food quality went down a little like everywhere else. However they have went back to that great food quality I can count on. Haven’t gone here in awhile but recently went this weekend and got a couple things. Chili dumplings were great although not really spicy. If you can tolerate spicy food this will be a cake walk. My girlfriend doesn’t like spicy anything and she loved the chili dumplings but said it wasn’t spicy. The gyoza was great as well but I would say go for steamed they always hit the spot here. Also can’t go wrong with the fuji roll for sushi its a favorite of mine and my girlfriend. Now for the Ramen they have great noodles with great texture and the chashu (simmered/braised pork) tastes well and not over done. Also they are very generous with the chashu (I got 3 last time) while other places only give one typically here in okc at least where I have gone. Also ask for chili oil they have great chili oil here idk if they make it or buy it from somewhere but it has a nice kick to it. Will recommend like always and will keep on coming back 5 out of 5!

My husband was really in the mood for some ramen and decided to choose a random place to go. We ended up at Jiro Sushi out of pure luck and I’m so beyond grateful we did! The inside is smaller, but I’m a fan of smaller areas. The inside is cozy and the art, walls and ceiling are all really cool! There are two TVs to watch as well. I had a hard time choosing what to eat because they have so many great options. My husband ended up getting the pork belly ramen and I ended up getting the katsu chicken bento box. This was hands down the best Asian cuisine I’ve had in quite awhile! The food is cooked well, has great texture and taste, and the presentation is even nice! On top of the great food, the service was really great as well. We were greeted with a smile, seated immediately, and given a couple minutes to decided what we wanted. The waitress was super sweet and attentive as well! We will definitely be return customers for sure!

Keep in mind I’m very critical on my reviews. A 5 Star is rare. Jiro sushi, a very interesting place to eat right off 23rd st. When I pulled up I couldn’t believe the pictures I had seen were this place. Outside windows in need of cleaning, and the little strip mall making me feel like I wasn’t sure about this. When walking into this restaurant the coffee was still hidden from view. Following our server it opened up. The design of the wall and ceiling just came alive. It was like walking into a TARDIS I felt like the space was so much larger. Instantly pleased with the atmosphere.

This is the most amazing sushi to eat in the Metro. All the food items are fresh and made to order. The waiters are all attentive and provide great service. Although the dine in is small it is a great atmosphere to dine in. They also provide carry-out which is convenient. I have placed carry-out orders and they are just as great when on the go. I highly recommend Jiro its awesome.

First time trying cooked sushi and I was so happy I tried it here!! The atmosphere is very inviting and the art is pretty cool! We had Mina as our amazing waitress. She was very knowledgable and super friendly! We tried the spicy calamari, the giant California roll, and a sushi burrito. Everything we tried was really good and priced decently. Will definitely be back, thank you so much for making our experience such an awesome one!
