Food was decent and the service was good, but it was kind of overpriced in my opinion. They give you a lot of food, but the quality was OK. I didn’t care for the Mac salad and they charge $5 for a side of it. The BBQ beef and chicken katsu were good though, and so was the salad.

Dining area is decently presented. Food was tasty. Not much for presentation, everything is in to-go containers, seems to be a trend since Covid, Chicken Katsu had great crunch, could have used more spices. Mac salad was traditional and tasty.

Meat was ok, rice and macaroni sucked. Then as we were about to leave we noticed that all the styrofoam plates that they served us on were chewed on by RATS! Never again will I eat here

We have become regulars. The owners and staff are super nice and helpful, even when they are busy. Our family favorites are: Katsu chicken, Musubi add sesame seeds, Barbecue Platter, & orange chicken easy on the sauce. Local bought ingredients homemade in their kitchen, we feel good about eating JJ’s real Hawaiian food.
