I Really wanted to love this place. Staff is great. Meat was as dry as a leather shoe. I asked if everything was not spicy and the answer was only the things with the little fire on the menu.. The mac and cheese was spicy. The carrots were so over cooked they are shriveled up. Maybe it was just a bad day for them..

Went to this smokehouse over the weekend. i honestly don’t understand the bad reviews. You are greeted as soon as you walk in and everyone is very nice. I ordered the jerk chicken sandwich with mac and cheese w/ a quarter pound of brisket to go. My fiance had the pulled chicken and pulled pork with mac and cheese and pasta salad. The food came out within minutes! Let me tell you this is one of the best bbq joints I have had. I compare it directly to a place I had down in Tennessee. My jerk chicken had great spice and heat equalling to a great taste. The mac and cheese was good my fiance liked it more than me. They also definitely give you awesome portions. My fiances was delicious and also even more delicious the next day. The brisket was moist and full of flavor. I would 100000 % come back and try even more. If you are thinking of trying it DO IT.

In the middle of a busy gardening day we headed out for supplies and found ourselves late for lunch! We googled restaurants near our Big Orange Home Improvement store nearby and BBQ sounded real good. The menu takes a while to process and luckily we decided to share a “Duo” platter- choice of 2 meats with choice of 2 sides & cornbread. We chose BBQ ribs and Smoked brisket. 1st of all, the portion is huge! The photo is after we ate 3 ribs! The ribs were melt-in-your-mouth tender and delicious. Did I mention they offer 4 or 5 different sauces. I blended the mustard with the mango habanero for the perfect amount of tang and heat. The brisket was perfectly, subtly smoky and mostly tender and juicy. The cole slaw was classic and delicious and the pickled beets were thick, tasty and plentiful. We shared the one platter and still were full. We forced each other to eat the last few bites because it was so good we couldn’t leave it on the plate!

Some of the best barbecue and sides I’ve ever had. We split a platter of pulled pork, pulled chicken, mac and cheese, and baked beans which came with moist cornbread and spicy, garlicky pickle slices and were stuffed. Prices were very reasonable for the quality and quantity of food and service was friendly and efficient. Definitely a repeat visit next time I’m in the area

We were traveling through the area and saw this place on Google. Wow! The food was amazing! We had a pulled pork & Cubano sandwiches a side of potato salad and a side of baked beans. The portions are huge! They quality of the food was delicious, flavorful and overall fantastic. The pickles are spicy and fresh tasting. I’m picky about potato salad but even that was great. Definitely a must stop if your in the area!

Nachos are a MUST! Service was quick and the portion size was huge! Excellent for “pre-hiking meals”, we had plenty of leftovers from the platters and we made them into quesadillas for breakfast. The ribs MELTS in your mouth and it was super moist. Not a fan of the cauliflower sides, it was a bit on the tart side. I think it’s a family run business, everyone was super friendly.

Great BBQ, huge servings. Fall off the bone ribs, great pulled pork, burnt ends were so good. Are visiting upstate NY and wanted BBQ, but you never know what you’re going to get. This is some of the best BBQ north of NC and east of K.C.

Ok as a BBQ lover I have been wanting to go here since it opened and never went passed when hungry. Well today was the day to go there for lunch. I ordered the Catskill Rueben , this was the recommendation from the cashier. I must say it was a great recommendation and it was awesome. I did leave off a star as the Mac and cheese was ok, the pasta was way overcooked and mushy. I will return to try other items and update.
