This Taiwanese food restaurant is a totally hidden gem in Columbia, SC! Lots of menu options with reasonable price. Very friendly employee and service speed was very quick! Portions for the food were generous. The popcorn chicken was a bit of bland on flavor, wish it was seasoned a bit more (they just need some popcorn chicken salt pepper for the seasoning then that would have been perfect! The deep fired pork chop was pretty authentic in taste, but the breading didn’t really stick to the pork chop. Paper based plates and bowls are very environmental friendly, but we were worried (a bit of jokingly) about if we had to finish the noddle soup within certain minutes otherwise the bowl may not hold the soup.

This is the only Taiwanese spot in town and everyone who works here is super nice! The food was subpar but pretty inexpensive – we paid $50 for the strawberry milk tea, mango fresh fruit drink, popcorn chicken, chicken cutlet, spicy wontons, and fried fish filet with rice and 2 sides. Milk tea was okay, but the boba tasted stale. The chicken cutlet and popcorn chicken did not taste authentic – both items were missing the typical Taiwanese fried chicken seasoning. The fried fish was cold in the center and tasted undercooked. The fried foods also had a slight taste of old oil. The spicy wontons had melted paper from the paper plates stuck to it.

It was a nice little space very calm atmosphere . I loved there drinks they where very delicious and the food was ok. Unfortunately the food I received could have been better if my seasoned vegetables would not have been served to me cold. Otherwise the presentation of the food was amazing and tasty. I look forward to going back to this location again because of there fruit drinks and the staff where very kind People and informative as well. Overall I Definitely say give this place a try!

I would generally go on the evening for a quick snack or drink. They have awesome boba teas. I love their classic black tea boba drink. I being an vegetarian don’t have many options here. For a quick snack, I try their spring rolls and buns/chocolate roles for dessert. Their location is very convenient and many students drop by for quick bites. Also, I tried their Fried rice once and it was awesome. Staff were very accommodating when I ask them to not add egg or any meat in it. Will definitely visit again.

Couldn’t get enough of the crispy tofu! Absolutely delicious, don’t skip it! Takoyaki was yummy and the egg flower soup was just what my wife wanted. Parking was a hassle because of construction but well worth it 🙂

Authentic Chinese and Taiwan fast food. Update March 2023. The food is still good. We especially like the beef with jalapeños on rice, crispy fried tofu, wonton noodle soup, pork on rice. Beef noodle soup is good. Fried calamari and spring rolls are average. Bubble tea flavors are relatively bland compared to other Columbia bubble tea joints.

I love coming here! The food is consistently hot and flavorful. I absolutely LOVE their takoyaki! The tea is also wonderful and they have a large variety of combinations that will suit almost anyone’s taste. It’s a great lunch spot for anyone visiting and looking for a chill vibe in the city.

Everything they have is so good! I dove in and forgot to take pictures. My favorite is the milky slush drinks with boba. The peach yogurt is definitely my favorite flavor. We ended up going here a few times while staying in Columbia. I wish I had a place like this where I lived I’d be going here at least once a week. This place overall has great cheap eats and great boba drinks. I would definitely consider it my favorite restaurant while staying in Columbia for the past month.
