I read an article about this place and its owner, so my family and I went over to eat and me to be a food critic. As I walked in, I saw the owner and a gal at the counter we were greeted by both. I had questions on the menu, and I got answers that were to my satisfaction. The food was great, the best part about this birria is that it is made with beef and not goat, the tacos i ordered the tortilla was fried to perfection nothing falling apart, I was offered a broth for dipping (nice touch), the customer service was also to my liking and the cleanliness gets a five star. Horrible!! I paid $38 something for some queso tacos, not even cooked looked like they were just dipped in sauce and not cooked. I called to and they said I have to go back in order to get new order or a refund keep in mind I love 30 min away and gas is expensive I’m not going back I told the girl that on the phone and said we’ll don’t know what to tell you it’s either that or idk. Horrible don’t go here

If you are looking for homemade tortillas, not the place to go to. We ordered quesabirrias and was very disappointed with them. Not homemade tortillas, pretty stingy with the meat and the tortilla was pretty dry. The beans are spicy, so if you have kids, beware. I think it’s way overpriced. If you are looking for good Mexican food, Tacos el Rey on 6th and Nob hill won’t disappoint!

Food is overpriced, not the best birria in town. I rather make the drive to Sunnyside. Taste as they reheat it over and over for new orders, not the best. Customer service was lacking politness. I would say something to order and the gal would be like Is that it? As if I was wasting her time.

Pizzadilla isn’t a gimmick, it’s really, really tasty. The birria is so flavorful and the consommé is unique compared to a lot of the other places in the valley. Do yourself a favor and stop in.

The food was delicious, portions are perfect. Horchata was great! There are no bells and whistles at this place. No guacamole or sour cream. Atmosphere was very clinical feeling. Very little decor. You order and pay then seat yourself. Menu is on the smaller side. No seafood offerings.
