Looking for a quick yummy hotdog? This place is a NEW hidden gem. It is located on Michigan Ave walking distance to Lugnuts stadium. Eat inside or outside. Easy parking on the side for free. Very yummy and well priced. This is a MUST TRY in downtown stadium district in Lansing.

The Doghouse is a small and simple business. The prices are more then fair, and the service is fantastic. I go to the college nearby, and I’ve stopped at JJ’s twice now for a quick bite to eat, and both times I found myself wanting to go back for more. The owner is incredibly kind and well paced, and it’s obvious that he does his best to please his customers. I’d love to see JJ’s go far, to see it expand and advance, so if you have the time, please stop by!

Our hotdogs and cony dogs were delicious along with chips and a can of pop/soda. Nice and helpful guys there. There’s a few stools to sit at a counter inside and picnic tables out front. I need to get back to have a chicago style dog or italian beef.

Great little place, if you’re looking for a big menu this may not be for you. If you like good honest hard working folks with what they do serve is excellent then stop in and give them you business. Skip the chain restaurants and give them a try!

JJ’s Dog House is Lansing’s Downtown “Hotdog Stand!” Although much more than a stand, JJ brings a Big City vibe to the Capitol City of the Mitten! Super friendly – very accommodating and I’ll most certainly be coming back for more!!
