JJ’s is a favorite!! I always love a trip to JJ’s for the hog pen fries and pulled pork sandwiches or the delicious hamburgers (add pulled pork to the burger, you won’t regret it!). Although the hours have gotten weird recently, the staff is always friendly and the environment is great. A staple of BV and some of the best pulled pork around!

Great place to eat! Stopped on a recent motorcycle trip through the area. Food, service, atmosphere and overall place was very good! Talked with the owner and had a great conversation about riding in the the surrounding area! Will definitely be back again sometime!

It’s hard to beat this place. Usually wait for my this visit to taste a place and this place has never disappointed. From the laid back atmosphere to the wide range of food choices none of which are bad. They are an hour away but we will drive for this food. Prices are good for the food you get. The wings are large and with trying 3 different flavors I have tried were all amazing. The crispy breading is so good. Eat here if you have a chance! These pictures are my parmesan garlic wings and his catfish, shrimp, Mac and cheese and baked beans! Back again today! Love this place! More wings for me and brisket and Mac and cheese for Steve!!!

We LOVED JJ’s! We got our food to go to eat in a nearby park and it was just what we needed! The pig pen was amazing- we got it with everything on it and we added coleslaw. The hush puppies with the honey butter are worth a trip to Buena Vista themselves!

Amazing meats! A rib eye steak like no other! Lou cuts them on site and cooks them in the outside grill. Great BBQ. AMAZING brisket! Gotta have the smoked wings, too! My wife and I have been camping in Buena Vista for 3 weeks and we have eaten there 7 times. We are going back tomorrow night for steaks again! Great atmosphere! Quite cozy with indoor fireplace.

This place is awesome! Made a great date night spot with the hubby. Prices are very reasonable and the quality of the food was out of this world! I am from Texas and am always on the hunt for good BBQ this reminded me of home. The staff was very friendly as well and the bathrooms were nice and clean. Will be back!
