JJ’s has been locally owned and operated by the Lyon family since 1981. John Lyon started the business to bring the tastes of his hometown, Buffalo, New York, to Western Maryland. Today, the Lyon family is joined by the Mechem family in carrying on the JJ’s tradition. We make every order from scratch and strive to use local ingredients to bring you the freshest products possible. This place has pizza, but its not the best part. It’s a solid spot to get pizza, don’t get me wrong, but that’s not why you should go there. The wings with the blue cheese are phenomenal. I got the honey bbq wings, and they are so tender and juicy, whist also being packed with flavor. And the blue cheese is really good, even if you don’t normally prefer blue cheese over ranch like me. Get the wings, you won’t regret it!

Whenever I’m in town, I stop by JJ’s. Best pizza, subs and wings. My recent stop, I got a small spicy pepperoni pizza, fries and a cheese steak sub. Everything was perfect. Is it a little pricier than other places? Yes. But other places don’t have anything on the quality of this place. I love it!

The pizza we was supposed to have banana peppers, and we got pepperochini peppers, which made it almost to spicy to eat. We asked for plates and fork, none came with our delivery. Ordered plain chicken wings, they was over cooked and hard to eat. Next time we’ll do papa John’s.

Pizza was great. Even better than a New York pizza I’ve tried. Downtown area of Cumberland was a bit challenging to navigate for the visitor but they do deliver. I would definitely recommend it to locals and visitors

I don’t know why the ratings are not a five star. There staff are very people oriented and friendly. There prices are decent. And there food in this town is in my opinion the best they are not cheap looking for a fast buck. Thre portions are more than adequate. Well done jjs.

I ordered a pizza with 5 toppings and I was served a soggy dripbing mess of raw dough. I was basically called a liar over the phone and when I brought the pizza in to show him I was told that it was my fault because I ordered that many toppings

One of my favorite pizzas in town. Large double bacon and extra cheese pizza was only 14.79 on a Monday. Making the price just right. The crust is what sets their pizza apart from others for me. Highly recommend. Also one of the better cheesesteaks in town and will not disappoint. Don’t miss out on this place!
