Joe Lerro established Jo- Lynn’s in 1972 on Pittsburgh’s South Side. Later, Jo- Lynn’s relocated to Dormont, where they enjoyed many prosperous years. In 1987, Joe made the decision to settle in Liberty Boro, and now, with the help of our devoted customers, we are still going strong. Although the menu at Jo- Lynn’s undergone numerous expansions since it opened in 1972, the recipes for the pizza dough and pizza sauce have remained the same ever since.

To start off I wasn’t sure what I wanted but the host was very patient with me & was very knowledgeable about the menu. Thank you I ordered a small steak salad, fried zucchini & a 2 Leter of Pepsi. After ordering I misunderstood the gentleman & thought he said 60 minutes. He said 50 minutes (F0 minutes) lol We laughed. My food arrived quickly, the steak salad & the fried zucchini was great!! The delivery driver was awesome, he forgot my Pepsi but ran back to get it & bought me another 1 on him! So sweet of him! Thank you for doing such a great job! Keep up the great work! I will definitely be a repeat customer & will refer everyone I know.

I am not exaggerating when I say the Cajun burger is the best burger I’ve ever had. Had it the first time right before the fire, and I’ve been thinking about it since. Just got it again, first time since reopening, and it is even better than I remember.

We ordered on a regular basis before the fire and was always satisfied. Tonight was the first time since the reopening that we had the chance to order. Over 100 dollars and waited 1.5 hours and didn’t even receive the whole order. I called back and the boy that answered the phone, in my opinion, really just didn’t care at all. I have been in this business for almost 30 years and if my store messed up a big order and acted like they didn’t care I would fire all of them. I am super upset with all this considering before the fire jo Lynn’s set the bar in the area. Very sad in the decline and will NEVER order again.

Food was absolutely awful. The wing dings were atrocious, they were those super cheap wings you would get at a swimming pool or something. I got the buffalo ranch wings and the sauce was so thick it was like mayonnaise. The pizza was also horrible and soggy. This was honestly some of the worst pizza i have had in my entire life. If I could have sent it back for a refund I would have. I would never order from here again and would recommend nobody ever order food from here.

We have been coming here for years and after waiting so long for our favorite place to reopen we had to order a lot~ The food is still really good and the prices have gone up from before but the quality is worth it. Nothing in the area compares, especially when it comes to the cheese fries. We always get a pizza, cheese fries, and hoagies but all the food is good.

We moved to liberty a year ago or so. Jo Lynn was still closed from a fire. I’m so glad that they reopened!! Pizza is !!! We usually order an XL, sausage and green pepper pie. It’s our favorite. The Italian hoagie is good too! Da !!!!! I grew up on Mineos and Alioes in Squirrel Hill, so I wasn’t sure if this was going to even be edible!!! We love Jo Lynn’s!!! We are actually waiting on a large pie right now!!!! 6/19/23

Look, the food is great, no real argument there. Thats assuming you’re able to actually get through the phone and order it. Then there’s online ordering. Or most people would assume. The assumptions made aren’t unreasonable, except in the case of JoLynns Pizza

They were extremely busy but also very pleasant when I called in to place an order I had a mistake that was made on our fries which definitely could happen with how busy they are and how many different types of fries they sell but either way when I called in I told the manager who I was transferred to very told me that he can replace the order in 15 minutes to come by and when I picked it up it was steaming hot and a nice big portion done exactly the way we wanted and when he made it to us they were very pleasant
