I want to love it because the other locations are great. However, the service here is lacking smiles with basic customer service. No warmth like you get in most Italian restaurants. You can’t order to go online at the Columbia location. The food is good for this side of the river if you’re short on gas otherwise just go across the bridge.

Decided to try this place after a round of golf in Columbia. I had been to the Boccardi’s in Eureka before. This location was just as good as the one in Eureka , in fact outstanding. The lunch special with the Italian salad was superb. A generous portion of quality food at a reasonable price. Our server was attentive, friendly and personable. We sat out on the patio on a nice day, shady and comfortable. Joe Boccardi’s restaurants are all excellent.

I was excited to try this place after hearing about it. I’ve heard good things. Unfortunately my experience did not reflect that. The positives were the house salad and they had good bread. The negatives were anything that was hot. We tried to order the toasted spinach artichoke cannelloni, it has been changed to those frozen toasted raviolis and they had no flavor. The menu seemed to be outdated in several areas as they also do not have the cabernet vinaigrette. When food came out, I had gotten the tortellini bianco. The white sauce was broken and has no flavor. The tortellini were dry. The shrimp on another dish was the fishiest shrimp I have ever had. It was gross. The meatballs were super dense and lacked flavor. The side of white pasta was the most bland pasta I have ever had. We sent back the tortellini, which is something that I never do but it was basically inedible. When the check came we had to ask the waitress to take the tortellini off. They are understaffed and I felt bad for the staff. Our waitress was nice enough, but she was running around like crazy. She was waiting on the busy patio and was also bartending. Overall, it just wasn’t a great experience and I would not recommend it.

Food was very bland. Many dishes in my party came out hot in some spots and cool in others. I suspect it was microwaved. Despite this, I was surprised how long the food took to come out. I was there around 6:30pm on a Wednesday night and it was fairly empty. Hopefully my visit was a fluke, but I doubt I’ll return.

Been coming here everyday for the past week, we became “regulars” and were greeted at 12 pm by Bob and our friendly waitress which remembered our drink order by the third time we came in. An experience that can be only be lived out genuinely. 10/10 very wholesome

Not coming back. Not sure why there were so many people for such low quality food and bad ambiance. Looks like this place hasn’t been updated since the 1950s and it smells inside.
