Found them online while driving back to Waikiki. Great bbq eats. Bought the mixed plate and rib plate. Beans delish with pieces of bacon. Coke slaw crunchy and spicy. Solid meal. Ribs fall off the bone with great sauce. Tasty. Ribilicous said my son.

IN THE MIDDLE OF OHIA TREES
I absolutely love the food here at Joe’s Backyard BBQ in Kapolei Hawaii. My all time favorite is the Jamaican oxtail and Bbq brisket, but you should call in advance to check because they don’t always have it. I actually have these two dishes flown in from Oahu to the Big Island sometimes.

We recently moved to Ewa Beach and were driving around getting familiar with the neighborhood. We drove by some random food trunks a couple of times. Finally decided to stop by and try Joe’s Backyard BBQ. IT IS AMAZING!!! IT IS ONE OF THE BEST BBQ PLACES I HAVE EVER EATEN AT!!! Can’t believe he makes magic in a trunk. Definitely recommend stopping by if your in the neighborhood. You will NOT be disappointed!
