These people have been going strong for over 40 years. Awesome food all around. I destroyed biscuits and sausage gravy with a serving of cut up sausage links thrown on top for good measure. It’s cooked with bacon grease and you can tell.

Great place to get some good home made cooking and dessert! Wait staff is very friendly and attentive, makes me feel like I’ve been going here for years, and I just started. Their daily lunch specials are spot on and very filling. I haven’t had breakfast there yet, but I hear it’s pretty amazing.

Just started working in Irving, right up the street from Joe’s, and decided to have a business meeting here. The host greeted me immediately and found me a comfortable place to sit while I waited for my business partner. The server was super attentive but not pushy or overbearing — kinda perfect, actually. Got great coffee — nothing fancy, but better than ihop! — and the server kept us topped off. Wasn’t interested in getting food, but the server briefly mentioned the BOGO special on pie slices and we couldn’t resist. I had a slice of cherry pie and it was great! Atmosphere is charming in a small town cafe sort of way and was a great place to have our informal meeting. My only criticism was how bright it was inside, but it was early afternoon, and that might just be a me thing.

Friendly environment, brings back nostalgic memories coming here and seeing all the old photos on the walls. The food has always been delicious the family enjoys the grilled pork plate and Stuff French toast. Prices are affordable I’d say, many options on the menu to select from.
